Begin one agreed small step
Explore The Lead through begin one agreed small step: an original anime-style festival scene, five role comparisons, a tradeoff, a small creative experiment and transparent counts. Complete free story-role guide.
Complete all 18 situations. Each explicitly mapped choice adds one raw count to one of six original story roles, giving 18 counts in total. Every role appears 12 times, three times in each answer position; absence from an item is not rejection. Every highest count receives a complete guide, including all six when all A choices give three counts each. Counts describe choices in this bank, not match percentages, population norms, hidden personality types or validated differences between people.
The Lead in this story
The Lead is an original role in this edition, defined by volunteering for one agreed first step. It is a way to enter the invented seed-lantern story, not a claim that you deserve the spotlight in real life. A useful opening gives other characters something to respond to while leaving them free to choose their parts. The role can move between characters as a scene develops.
The festival starts with a small task
The floating garden’s friends have agreed to prepare a first paper seed. Instead of announcing a grand destiny, your character offers to fold the first sample and asks whether that is the start they want. Another character may suggest a different opening. The scene moves because a modest action becomes available, not because one person has to carry the plot or make every later decision.
An opening beside five other contributions
The Challenger compares alternatives, the Pathfinder connects places and the Guide offers a requested example. The Improviser finds a fresh use for a prop while the Keeper keeps a shared promise clear. The Lead contributes a beginning they can build on. No role is the best character or a rank in courage. A tied guide can offer several possible parts for your next scene without fixing your identity.
Starting does not mean owning the whole story
An opening can crowd out other characters if the same person decides every next step. After the first action, leave a space where someone else can respond, change the direction or stop the optional scene. You can also prefer a quieter part next time. The count does not measure leadership, persistence or a duty to inspire others, and another role is not a lesser supporting life.
Try an opening with room for a reply
In an original short storyboard, give your character one small action that has been agreed with the other creators. End the panel with room for another character’s choice instead of resolving the whole scene. Read both panels together and ask whether the opening made collaboration easier. This explores a story-making preference; it does not predict your success as a leader or assign you a permanent role among friends.

Original story and source limits
FermatMind independently authored this original anime-story quiz: the fictional seed-lantern festival, six roles, situations, mappings and complete readings. The literary background reference discusses character roles within stories; it does not establish our six labels, scoring or psychological validity. These are selected storytelling possibilities, not a universal anime taxonomy or licensed characters from a show. No competitor questions, reports, franchise images or dialogue are reproduced. This entertainment edition is separate from Jungian motivation models, moral alignment, character-strength scales and clinical assessment.
