A reading of choices in this bank rather than an official type or ability conclusion.
South shares the maximum and East exceeds West: participation first, with clarification as its neighbour. This establishes neither greater consideration nor reliability and creates no obligation to coordinate everyone.
Choose one of four options in each of thirty-six questions. Each adds one count to its direction; the four raw counts sum to thirty-six. Each direction appears thirty-six times and nine times in each position. Counts compare only within this attempt, not ability, personality proportions or population ranks. Retain EVERY highest direction, then compare its two perpendicular neighbours: North or South compares East with West, and East or West compares North with South. A uniquely greater neighbour produces an ordered highest-neighbour guide. Equal neighbours produce that highest direction’s base guide with no distinguished neighbour, not a pure personality. The neighbour need not be second overall. Opposite highest directions both remain without becoming an adjacent blend. Choosing one position throughout gives nine each and all four base guides in full. One choice establishes no significant, stable or strong difference. Read close guides without random primary types or hidden cutoffs.
Hearing needs before clarifying the arrangement
South-East places participation among the highest choices and clarification above alternatives among its neighbours. You might want people to express their availability, then turn responses into an understandable arrangement. This measures neither organisational skill, patience nor a talent for caring. The same table could make participation harder, depending on how it is used. Its usefulness needs actual participants and conditions rather than a label. Your own needs belong among those conditions rather than becoming less important because this guide appears.
How the counts produce South-East
The rule first retains all global highest directions. South must be one of them, and East must then strictly exceed West. North may still exceed East; East is not necessarily second overall, only the neighbour chosen from the perpendicular pair. If East also shares the maximum, the full East-South reading appears too. Equal East and West produce base South with no distinguished neighbour. Close counts offer no basis for treating one guide as a definite psychological classification or suppressing another highest result.
A rota that needs no unnecessary explanation
For a volunteer rota, you invite people to state available times without publicly explaining why other slots do not work. You organise the remaining gaps for discussion and state your own limit rather than automatically filling them. The table makes conditions visible without ranking unavailable people as irresponsible. If someone finds the format difficult, a spoken contribution may work instead. Clarity serves participation here; producing a complete-looking grid is not itself evidence that the arrangement is fair or workable.
Naming availability rather than arranging other people
You could invite people to enter only slots they wish to offer, without explaining private circumstances, and propose discussing how large an activity the remaining availability supports. Process and personal boundaries then become explicit together. A smaller activity remains an alternative to increasing someone’s burden. A more detailed table should not pressure a reluctant person into agreement. South-East does not assign you a lasting coordination role or require remembering every preference of everyone who takes part.
Participation first and sequence first
East-South begins with clarification as highest and participation as neighbour; South-East reverses that order. South-West requires more alternatives than clarification, while base South leaves those neighbours equal. North-East and East-North can begin with movement or sequence without disregarding participation. West-based readings may also make joining easier through a different starting point. Other base guides likewise leave their neighbours undecided. These are distinctions within a fixed choice budget, not a ranking of who is better suited to looking after people.
Declining to coordinate or changing a process is allowed
You can listen to others’ needs and still decline to take notes. An existing table may already be adequate, making immediate use more sensible than redesign. More East establishes no rigidity, and fewer West choices establish no lack of ideas. South-East predicts neither relationship quality, work performance, empathy nor suitability for a caring profession. The items collect choices among four options rather than satisfaction with an actual arrangement, and other people’s satisfaction does not become your obligation.
Checking whether an arrangement accommodated limits
If useful, review an ordinary collaboration: how needs were expressed, which conditions became clear and whether your own availability remained bounded. Compare a case where direct conversation was enough without another process. Observation need not involve writing a private story. You do not have to fill every gap to have used this reading. Further assessment is optional, and South-East cannot be exchanged for an EQ, attachment or MBTI result.

Original reflection and the official-instrument boundary
Four directions are metaphors for independently authored everyday reflection. This is not the official Personality Compass or PCTI instrument, the book’s type identification, an Arabic-language bank or Arab cultural norms. Arabic supplies the common search-name context, never an ethnic personality inference. Highest and neighbouring readings use this site’s explicit editorial rule rather than the book’s scoring or validated psychological types, and are not converted into DISC, MBTI, Big Five, blood types, brain chemistry, health or career.
