Original English practice · Five full guides free
Practise 30 original English questions across science, mechanics, circuits, auto/shop and written assembly. Section timers or untimed study; five full guides free.
30 English questions · About 24 minutes including instructions · Timed / untimed · No signup
Explore five science and technical areas related to ASVAB preparation: general science, mechanical models, electric circuits, auto/shop knowledge and written assembly. This is our own short fixed bank, with English questions in both interfaces and bilingual explanations. It complements the separate four-area English practice; these five parts do not produce an AFQT score. The text-and-coordinate assembly tasks are not an official visual subtest.
Responses and counts stay in this page’s memory and are cleared by restart, refresh, leaving or changing language. There is no saved draft or public answer URL. Optional activity counts use a separate consent choice and contain no responses or scores.

Each part has six independently written four-option questions with one answer under the stated definitions or ideal assumptions. The bank is English in both interfaces. Explanations, instructions and every guide are bilingual working content, not evidence that a translated assessment has been validated.
Science, mechanics, electronics, auto/shop and written assembly add content not present in the separate four-area English practice. The official computer format separates Auto Information and Shop Information before combining their score; this short edition combines those topics for learning and does not claim to reproduce an official form.
Timed caps are 3:00, 4:00, 4:00, 3:00 and 5:00. The next clock starts only when you press Start this part. Time continues while the tab is in the background. At the deadline, the current part locks and blank items remain unanswered. Untimed study uses the same bank without deadlines.
You can go back within the active part, explicitly leave a blank, or finish the part early. Closed parts cannot be reopened. If the page detects inconsistent device clocks, it clears the attempt without a timed result. These checks support a local practice clock and do not provide proctoring, identity checking or tamper-proof examination conditions.
Every selected correct answer adds one correct count; another selected valid option adds one wrong count. Missing or explicitly skipped responses add one unanswered count. The three counts sum to six per part and thirty overall. There is no guessing adjustment, speed bonus, weighted composite or conversion to a performance band.
The sections have not been equated for difficulty. Do not interpret the lowest count as a diagnosed weakness. All questions, selected responses, keys and explanations become available after five parts close. All five complete public guides are free before and after practice, and public links contain no personal answers or counts.
Read an explanation and make a fresh paper example before repeating the fixed bank. Repeated scores can change through recognition, more time or understanding, and this exercise cannot isolate those causes. Twenty-four minutes is an editorial estimate including instructions, not observed completion data.
These raw records do not determine military eligibility, a career match, intelligence or safe equipment competence. For official preparation and examination information, consult the official ASVAB site. For real workshop or electrical work, use qualified instruction and equipment-specific safety information rather than a web-practice score.
Read without answering. These pages are identical for everyone, without personal responses or scores.
No. Official AFQT uses standard scores from arithmetic, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension and mathematics. These five other topic areas produce only local practice counts.
No. FermatMind independently wrote this fixed short bank, its options, workings and guides. There is no endorsement, official score conversion, calibrated norm or examination simulation.
Yes. Instructions, explanations and all guides are bilingual, while the question stems and options remain English in both interfaces. Language comprehension is part of this practice context; no cross-language score equivalence is claimed.
The part locks at its deadline. Blanks stay unanswered, separately from selected wrong answers. You explicitly start the next part and can choose untimed study before beginning a new attempt.
Yes. All thirty explanations open after five parts close, even with zero correct. Every public topic guide can also be read without answering, without signup and without purchasing a report.
Responses and counts stay in page memory; refresh, leaving, changing language or restarting clears them. Shared links lead to identical public guides, without a score, answer, attempt identifier or private result.
