36 original cultural-theme statements · Six full guides free
Reflect on six culture-related themes through 36 original statements. Read separate response means, reverse keys and six full free guides. No country match or national score.
36 questions · about 8 minutes · no signup
Privately choose one ordinary voluntary group, real or imagined, and keep the same setting for all 36 statements. Rate how much you agree with the arrangement you would prefer now: 1 strongly disagree to 5 strongly agree. Choose not applicable/cannot judge when needed; it is not zero. The first three statements in each six-item topic are direct, the last three use 6 minus your response. A topic needs four numeric responses for a descriptive mean. No group name, country or demographic information is requested.

Explore how you would prefer one ordinary voluntary group to arrange decisions, personal choice, achievement and care, uncertainty, changing practices, and enjoyment. This is an original individual reflection using cultural themes as background; it does not measure your culture or reproduce a national-culture instrument.
Each topic has six original statements: three direct and three reversed. Numeric options are 1–5; a reversed contribution is 6 minus the selected code. Not applicable/cannot judge is excluded. Sum the numeric contributions and divide by their count, rounding to one decimal only with at least four of six numeric responses. All 36 need a response before any result is shown; an unavailable mean is not zero. This four-response display rule is not a validated psychometric threshold.
The six national-culture framework themes are background; these new statements ask about your own preferred arrangements in one chosen setting. They are not VSM or CVSCALE items, formulas, indices or validation. The achievement/role-expectations group contains both competitive-recognition and social-role statements: review them separately, because its mean can hide a difference between those aspects. No result identifies nationality, ethnicity, an individual’s culture or a group’s culture.
All six complete guides remain readable, including when a mean is unavailable or several means are equal. There is no total, dominant cultural type, cross-topic ranking, country match, population percentile or better/worse cutoff. A mean describes these response codes, not the strength of a latent trait; equal-interval measurement and comparability across topics are not established. Concrete examples and counterexamples help you compare the individual statements instead.
Read what each of the 6 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.
This reading concerns your responses about decision authority in one ordinary group setting. It does not assign a culture to you or establish how that group actually distributes power. Read the six statements and the circumstances behind them before drawing a practical conclusion.
This original topic asks how you would weigh individual choice and group obligations in one chosen setting. It does not measure sociability, selfishness, kindness, belonging, or the culture of your country. The details of a real obligation cannot be decided by six answers.
This topic contains two related discussion areas: how a group recognizes competitive achievement, and whether emotional roles are expected to differ by gender. Its mean is only a summary of six original response codes. It does not describe your sex, gender identity, kindness, competence, or personal masculinity or femininity.
This reading concerns your responses about ambiguity in ordinary group situations. It does not measure clinical anxiety, courage, carefulness, obedience, or willingness to take a dangerous risk. The prompts ask about wanting a definite interpretation when the practical stakes are ordinary.
This original topic asks how you would weigh changing circumstances and inherited group practices. It does not measure planning skill, patience, intelligence, productivity or the culture of a nation. A preference for continuity or adaptation needs the specific situation behind it.
This reading concerns your preferences about ordinary leisure and duty in one group context. It does not measure addiction, self-control, spending habits, sexual behavior, health or the amount of happiness in your life. Wanting permission to enjoy something is different from having the opportunity to do it.
No. It is a FermatMind original 36-statement reflection about preferred arrangements in one chosen group context. It does not reproduce their items, formulas or validation, and it does not compute personal or national Hofstede indices. National-level findings cannot establish this bank’s individual-level validity.
Within each six-statement topic, the first three are direct and the last three use 6 minus the selected 1–5 code. Unscored answers are excluded. At least four numeric responses are required for a one-decimal descriptive mean; fewer responses leave that mean unavailable. All full guides remain readable.
No. Means summarize your responses to these original statements in a chosen context. They cannot identify nationality, ethnicity, individual or group culture, ability or moral worth. There is no total, ranked cultural type, country match, population percentile, or established English–Chinese measurement equivalence.
All six complete guides are free and public before and after answering, without an email or purchase wall. Sharing copies only the public test title and entry link. Answers, means and your privately chosen setting are excluded. Saving a 24-hour browser session draft is optional.
The national-culture model was developed for a different level of analysis; its country-level findings do not validate these individual questions. This edition has no established reliability, validity, norms or English–Chinese equivalence. All wording, scenarios and calculation rules here are independently authored. The references explain the framework and its limits, without endorsing this bank or granting it the status of a standard instrument.
You can answer without saving or opt into a session draft that expires after 24 hours. Completion, clear or retake removes that draft. Sharing copies only the public title and entry link, excluding answers, means and the group you privately imagined. All six full guides are free without signup, email or purchase. You can write one private context note, return to the test list, or finish here.
