Published SD4, all 28 items: English order, five agreement anchors, four seven-item subscales and direct keys follow the author’s page, with no common recall window. Chinese is our working translation, without psychometric validation for this translation or this website’s users.
Paulhus, Buckels, Trapnell and Jones (2021), Screening for Dark Personalities. Paulhus lists SD4 in the public domain, available without permission. The website adds an unscored response and withholds a subscale mean if any rating is missing; this is not an author-validated missing-data procedure.
Answer only for yourself. Answers remain in this page’s memory without saved drafts or personal-result sharing; no quiz-flow statistics are sent. Refreshing, changing language or leaving loses the attempt.
Adults answering for yourself only. Rate agreement with each statement using the five published anchors. The original form has no shared recall window. You may choose the website’s unscored response without giving a reason. All 28 statements need a response to finish; each subscale needs all seven numeric ratings for its mean. Answers stay in this page’s memory only.
Preparing the test…

Read what each of the 4 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.

No. Four raw subscale means remain separate. There is no total, dominant type, severity level, safety judgement, norm percentile or clinical diagnosis.
Select the unscored option and finish normally. A subscale needs all seven numeric ratings for a mean. One unscored response withholds only that subscale’s mean; all four full guides remain available.

Answers stay in current page memory. There are no drafts, quiz-flow statistics or personal-result sharing. Refreshing, changing language or leaving loses the attempt. Public guide links contain no answers or means.
No. Their items, anchors, theme definitions and missing-data rules differ. The existing Mini is preserved as a separate original reflection rather than renamed or replaced by SD4.
SD4 is the authors’ 28-item research version. FermatMind’s original Mini 18-item thematic reflection is a separate form with a different bank, anchors and coverage; scores do not convert. Neither version supplies a clinical diagnosis.
There are no saved drafts, quiz-flow statistics, personal-result URLs or personal-result sharing. Refreshing, switching language or leaving discards the attempt. You can answer unscored and still read every guide.
