Choose one freelance project you are considering or currently arranging. Rate the preparation that still applies to it today. A real or fictional rehearsal can count as a trial; no paying client is required. Choose the stage you actually reached, not how confident you feel. Select the non-rating option when an item does not apply, cannot be assessed or is private. Every question needs a choice.

All questions and full results are free, with no signup. Saving is optional; only saved attempts can be resumed after a refresh or language change. Tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion or retake.
Choose one concrete arrangement and report what you have actually prepared so far. See five separate action-stage summaries, the individual choices and every complete public reading. The questions, method and explanations are original and are not a validated prediction of readiness.

The original response stages are 0: not started; 1: a draft not yet tried; 2: tried in a real or simulated task; 3: reviewed the trial and adjusted the plan. They describe reported actions, not competence levels or a validated learning scale. “Not applicable / cannot assess / prefer not to answer” is a valid separate choice, not a zero.
Each group has four equally weighted actions. Only when all four answers are numeric do we add them and divide by four, rounding the displayed mean to one decimal place. For example, 0 + 1 + 2 + 3 = 6; 6 ÷ 4 = 1.5. A non-rating choice withholds that group’s sum and mean. We do not rescale three answers, fill missing information or let one group replace another. All twenty non-rating choices still lead to all five complete readings.
There is no overall score, ranked type, pass mark or readiness percentage. All five groups stay in a fixed order. Equal or close means can hide different unfinished actions and different resources; read the four rows and their stage counts before choosing a next step. The result cannot decide whether to quit a job, accept work, hire someone or make a financial commitment.
Only the selected stage is needed for each item. If you choose to save progress and session storage is available, this tab can keep a draft for resuming. It expires after 24 hours and clears on completion, retake or exit-and-clear. The result is calculated in the page, and public guide URLs do not contain your answers or values. Copying guide links shares the general readings. No project files, client names, credentials, income or savings figures are requested.
JRC’s EntreComp framework supplies background themes such as opportunities, resources, planning, collaboration and learning through experience. Its fifteen competences and eight progression levels are not this test’s five groups or four response stages. FermatMind authored the questions, stage summary and complete readings independently. The tool has not been psychometrically validated and is not an official EntreComp assessment, business certification, legal review or financial recommendation.
Five complete guides stay available in a fixed order, with concrete situations, different gaps behind close values and optional small rehearsals. Even all non-rating choices keep every full guide. Public pages contain no personal selections, means or readiness percentages; read before deciding whether to answer.

It summarizes twenty self-reported preparation actions for one current arrangement, in five separate groups. It does not test craft skill, market demand, employability or the likelihood of business success.
No. You can choose a proposed project and use fictional materials for a rehearsal. A trial is not proof of demand or a reason to make a real commitment before checking the relevant conditions.
Choose the non-rating option. It counts as an answered question, withholds only that group’s numeric summary and keeps all five complete readings available. It is never treated as zero.
No. It records reported action stages, without verifying resources, rights, obligations, income or the quality of actual work. A job or financial decision needs separate evidence and judgment.
Read the individual actions and counts. Stages 3, 3, 0, 0 and 2, 2, 1, 1 both average 1.5 but leave different next steps. The groups are not ranked and cannot compensate for one another.
No. You can finish with one small preparation action. Career information or an interest assessment may help with a different question, but their results are not calculated from this checklist.
