Original self-reflection questionnaire · Full results free
Reflect on one friendship with 20 free questions. Read five separate means, worked examples and full guides on plans, conversation, effort, privacy and differences.
20 questions · about 5 minutes · no signup
Choose one adult friendship you want to reflect on. Recall interactions you experienced during the past four weeks, using the same friendship throughout. Rate how often each statement applied when a relevant occasion occurred. Do not answer for the friend or enter names, messages or other private details. If an occasion did not occur, you cannot judge it or you prefer not to answer, select the separate unscored option. Each group needs all four numerical responses for a personal mean; other complete groups retain their readings. Select one option for all twenty questions to finish. There is no timer; five minutes is an editorial estimate for answering. These original items and language versions have not been psychometrically validated.

Explore one friendship through five kinds of recent interaction: agreements and priorities, room to speak, shared effort, space and privacy, and handling different interests. Twenty original questions provide five separate readings. Every complete bilingual guide is free before and after answering. No compatibility percentage, winning friendship type or prediction about your friend is produced.
Each group contains four original frequency items scored directly from 1 to 5. With four numerical answers, add them for a sum of 4–20 and divide by four for a one-decimal mean. For example, 4+3+4+2=13; 13/4=3.25 displays as 3.3. One unscored answer withholds only its own group’s personal sum and mean. All twenty questions require a selection, including the separate unscored option, for the attempt to finish.
The values summarize how you recalled selected interactions in one friendship during the past four weeks. They do not reveal the friend’s intentions or feelings, establish fairness or safety, or predict how long a friendship will last. Different opportunities and circumstances affect what you can report. The five editorial groups are not validated independent factors.
Every full guide remains available before and after answering, including when information is insufficient. The groups are not combined into a total, ranked or converted into a matching percentage. The same mean can contain different answers. A small decimal difference has no established meaningful-change threshold here. Read the concrete occasion before choosing a conversation to have.
Read what each of the 5 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.
Four observations concern discussing priorities, spending limits, changes and different views. Read them within one friendship and one recent period, then choose a concrete arrangement to discuss.
Notice whether you could finish a concern, explain a different view, clarify a message and ask for the kind of support you wanted. A changed-plan example helps turn the four observations into one clear conversation.
Look at suggesting contact, checking capacity, adjusting plans and discussing an unmet commitment. A small shared-activity example helps distinguish participation from a demand for equal time, money or availability.
Consider what happens after a declined invitation, before sharing a private conversation and when someone needs quiet time. A weekend example shows how to make contact arrangements without treating access as proof of care.
Explore shared activities when interests differ, chances to suggest a plan, chosen task roles and discussing a different approach. A small-event example separates practical cooperation from personality matching.
It offers five separate readings of your reported interactions, not a percentage or a two-person match. The friend does not need to submit a profile. Your answers cannot reveal what the friend thinks or predict the friendship’s future.
Choose one adult friendship and keep that person in mind for all twenty questions about the past four weeks. No identifying information is requested. Changing friends midway would mix different contexts and make the readings harder to interpret.
Each group needs four numerical answers from 1 to 5, all forward-scored. Add them and divide by four, displaying one decimal. The five sums and means stay separate, without a combined total or winning type.
Choose Not experienced / cannot judge. One unscored response withholds only its own group’s personal numbers; other complete groups retain theirs. The all-four rule is an editorial policy rather than a validated missing-data threshold. All guides remain open.
Participation and sharing are optional. A friend who chooses to answer can do so independently and decide what to disclose. Similar or different readings do not establish whose account is correct, and you do not need to negotiate with a score.
All twenty questions and five full public guides are free without signup. Only an explicit opt-in saves progress in this tab for up to 24 hours; completion, reset or exit-and-clear removes it. Copying shares a public title and link, without answers, means or a friend identifier.
FermatMind authored these twenty statements, the all-four completeness rule and the five guides. APA describes friendship through voluntary relationships, mutual needs and shared experiences; CDC discusses functions and qualities of social connection. These sources do not validate this questionnaire, its translation equivalence or an ideal friendship match. No competitor bank, scoring bands or type labels are reproduced.
No friend’s name, birthday, contact information or account is required. A friend may independently take the test if they wish and decide what to share; there is no paired account or hidden comparison. You can stop, decline an item or read only the guides. Privacy, consent and safety are not traded for a score, and this test cannot decide how much contact you should accept.
