Think of the past four weeks. When a relevant occasion occurred, how often did you experience what the statement describes? Choose the answer that fits your recall; if there was no relevant occasion, you cannot judge, or you prefer not to answer, choose unscored. These are original reflection questions about recent experiences. They do not determine whether you are a Highly Sensitive Person, measure how your brain works, or identify a condition. No activity or sensory exposure needs to be tried for this reflection.

This original bilingual reflection asks about experiences in the past four weeks. Returning to a meaningful idea, wanting less competing input, feeling affected and noticing a small change are considered separately. All four complete guides remain readable at every response pattern. The answers do not determine an HSP identity, objective sensory performance or how accurately you understand another person. The time estimate is for reading and reflection; this is untimed.
The 24 original items form four groups of six. Each response from Never to Almost always contributes 1 to 5, with no reversals. A group needs all six numeric responses; add them and divide by six, then round to one decimal for display. For example, 4, 2, 3, 5, 2 and 4 sum to 20 and display 3.3 / 5. This is a summary of reported recent frequency, not an HSP measurement or a percentage of sensitivity.
No relevant occasion, uncertainty and a choice not to answer stay unscored. Any unscored item withholds only its own group’s mean; it is never a zero or evidence of absent emotion or perception. Other complete groups keep their means. An all-unscored attempt still finishes and shows all four full guides. There is no overall total, highest pattern, score band, population rank or HSP cutoff.
Elaine Aron’s DOES discussion provides conceptual background about processing, busy input, emotional responses and subtleties. FermatMind independently wrote this bank, both languages and the guides; it does not administer, translate or shorten the HSP Scale or HSP-R. Four weeks, frequency anchors and strict completeness are editorial choices, without established reliability, factor structure, norms or language equivalence. The four topics do not identify a condition, neural mechanism, sensory acuity, empathic accuracy, career fit or relationship compatibility.
Read what each of the 4 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.
Read six recent experiences of linking ideas, considering meanings and reconsidering first impressions. Separate curiosity from accuracy, and reflection from unwanted repetition.
Read recent experiences of competing messages, changing displays and pauses after dense activity. Use concrete conditions to explore manageable adjustments without inferring a neurological threshold.
Read responses to good news, fiction, appreciation, difficult stories and kindness. Keep emotional resonance separate from knowing another person’s feelings or intentions.
Read recent attention to wording, routines, rooms, pauses, creative details and musical phrasing. Distinguish a noticed difference from objective acuity, accuracy or another person’s intention.
No. It summarizes answers to 24 original recent-experience questions. Four means and four complete guides help you describe situations; there is no diagnostic or HSP classification threshold.
FermatMind wrote six items for each of four editorial topics. This is a complete original reflection bank, not a validated short form of the HSP Scale or HSP-R, and it does not inherit their measurement evidence.
Choose the unscored option. The affected group needs all six numeric answers and otherwise shows insufficient information. Other complete groups keep their means, and every full guide remains free to read. An all-unscored attempt can finish.
The topics describe different recent experiences and are not established as four independent factors or personality types. Comparing their means cannot establish which trait dominates, how you compare with others or how your brain works.
No. These questions do not assess diagnostic criteria or distinguish causes of the experiences. If an experience is troubling or interferes with daily activities, its actual impact matters independently of these means.
Start with one actual situation, describe what happened and consider a small reversible adjustment. Ask other people about their needs instead of inferring them from a label. These means do not recommend jobs, judge care or decide relationships.
Saving is optional and stays in this tab for up to 24 hours. Completion, retake or exit-and-clear removes the draft. Public copying shares the title and public link, not item answers, means or a private score URL.
