Selections of this role’s options, not energy, gender or ability scores; every highest tie keeps its full guide.
Magician certifies no special power
This edition uses Magician as a literary name for noticing how a question is framed, what remains unknown and whether a reversible small test could clarify something. It certifies neither unusual powers, IQ nor superior intelligence. Selecting such practices among twenty situations adds counts without establishing that you reliably find an efficient route. The cognitive and transformational themes in the author’s public overview provide background only. This bank tests neither the book’s psychological structures nor a mature energy. A question can remain unanswered; the name is an invitation to examine information, not a promise of insight.
Choosing to check does not establish correctness
More selections indicate only that question-and-experiment options were chosen more often in imagined situations. Actual knowledge, effects, accuracy and feedback were not collected. Curiosity or uncertainty might explain wanting to ask first, but reasons were not assessed. Fewer selections establish neither poor thinking nor gullibility: each item permits only one starting point, and other practices can matter too. The number cannot rank intelligence or support a conclusion that has not been checked. Wanting to investigate is distinct from having investigated well, and a test label supplies no evidence missing from the actual question.
Letting a small example supply information
Suppose borrowing-and-return cues repeatedly leave the next step unclear. A paper simulation of one loan and return could show where guessing begins instead of assuming that you already know the cause. Its information remains limited; actual users may encounter different circumstances. This is no ability test and asks for no messages, personal data or work material from others. Selecting Magician does not establish expertise in solving system problems. The example makes a wish to understand into a small question while retaining the possibility that the test will be uninformative or that another approach is needed.
Optionally separating known, guessed and testable parts
If useful, choose an ordinary low-cost question and separate what is known, guessed and suitable for a small test. No elaborate plan or definite answer is required; recognising “currently unknown” can remain the outcome. You can decline the experiment or ask a willing person how they see the issue first. This reflection promises no increased judgment, creativity or efficiency and cannot replace decisions requiring specific qualifications. A small experiment is an optional entry into thinking, not a required growth assignment, and its result should not be generalised beyond the conditions actually explored.
Questions need not oppose action, coordination or feeling
Magician concerns unknowns and tests, Warrior bounded action, King shared conditions and Lover attention and appreciation. A question can be part of action, and a test can consider participants and their experience; these are not mutually exclusive kinds of people. Sage and Magician in the twelve-archetype entry have related themes without automatic equivalence or score conversion here. Every highest tie remains, without ranking questioners above people who act. Four equal counts reflect only twenty selections, not complete psychological balance, and no unselected role becomes a deficit to be repaired.
Uncertainty, support and direct expression remain possible
Not knowing, asking for support, following an agreed step or expressing a feeling directly is not a lack of wisdom inferred from fewer selections. More selections likewise establish no manipulation, concealed knowledge or tendency to live in your head; none was measured. The metaphor authorises no interpretation of someone else’s unconscious processes, feelings or motives and supports no therapy, expert judgment or major decision. A role name may help retain a question, but it cannot replace evidence, qualifications, consent or circumstances, or decide who represents mature masculinity more successfully.
Separating background and personal inference
The author overview identifies a background for four names, while these twenty items and guides are separately written without book exercises, competitor items or claims of deeper-than-others insight. After reading, recall one ordinary check: what became known, and what remained a guess? No personal case needs uploading and no role membership needs proving. Preferring action or attention to experience next time can change the counts without establishing altered intelligence, insight, stable personality or psychological structure. It is enough to retain a useful distinction between wanting an answer and having evidence for it.
Twenty choices and every highest tie
Each of twenty items has four options, one per role metaphor. A choice adds one count. Every role appears twenty times, five times in each option position, with zero reversals. Counts range from 0–20 and are neither energy, ability, maturity or gender-strength scales nor percentages. Only a complete attempt compares counts, retaining the full guide for every highest tie. No King-Warrior-Magician-Lover order breaks ties, and no secondary type is assigned. Choosing A throughout gives five each and four full guides, without certifying ideal psychological balance. Lower counts establish no shadow or deficit, and one choice proves no stable hierarchy. Incomplete or invalid input is not interpreted; retake differences certify no stable personality or growth effect.
Focused edition, literary background and privacy
These original focused situations and guides use four names with a literary background, without reproducing a book, standard bank or competitor content. They measure no masculine essence, mature energy, intelligence, relationship ability or health. Anyone may participate without entering gender or private experiences. Themes overlap the twelve-archetype entry, with different scope and items and no automatic equivalence or score conversion. Full text is free without another assessment. Drafts require opt-in, remain on this device for twenty-four hours and clear on completion, exit or retake; storage is optional. Sharing includes only the test name, matched guide names and public links, without answers or counts. You may read any guide first without accepting obligations attached to its name.
