Known-time chart · Twelve complete symbol guides, free
Calculate Sun, Moon, rising and ten tropical placements from a known time, zone and coordinates. Read whole-sign houses and twelve free zodiac symbol guides.
A chart starts with a time and a place. This calculator uses them to locate ten celestial bodies and the eastern-horizon point, then connects the displayed placements to a clearly labeled symbolic reading. You can explore the reading without treating it as a personality score or a prediction.
Known local birth time, explicit coordinates and IANA zone are required. Use a Gregorian date from1900 through the current instant. Choose a labeled approximate reference point or enter the location yourself; no location search or device-zone guess is used.
Entered birth information stays in this page's memory. Clearing, leaving, reloading or changing language removes it. Birth inputs and calculated placements are excluded from public links, images and analytics. Copying includes only the public calculator and guide URLs, never personal numbers.
Preparing the calculator. Please wait.
Start with the calculated table, then compare the Sun, Moon and rising cards. For another body, read its role, the sign image and the house context as separate visible modules. Finally compare an optional reflection with experience. Repeated symbols are not repeated measurements of personality.
A reproducible astronomical calculation can support the displayed positions. It does not validate a symbolic interpretation of personality or events. Publisher references explain how a tradition uses the symbols; they are not empirical evidence that a placement causes the described theme.
Signs are assigned from unrounded longitude. Degrees within the sign are then truncated downward to one decimal place: 29.99° displays as 29.9° in the same sign. Near a boundary, input or model differences may change the sign. Display resolution is not a guarantee of physical accuracy or of a birth record.
A local clock reading needs the correct location-specific time zone for that date. Where a clock repeats, choose the intended occurrence using the displayed UTC offset and instant. A nonexistent clock time must be corrected. Historical civil-time records and installed time-zone data may be incomplete or differ, particularly before 1970.
A labeled reference point can make an example convenient, but it is not your exact birthplace. Changing coordinates can affect the horizon point and its dependent houses. Keep the method and inputs aligned before comparing two calculators.
Use a known birth date and time from January 1, 1900, through the present. If a unique rising point cannot be determined, the computable body positions remain available while the rising point and dependent houses are marked unavailable. Finite reference comparisons do not establish accuracy for every date, place or boundary.

This version calculates ten body placements, the Ascendant and whole-sign houses, with ten-body element and modality counts. It does not yet calculate other angles, aspects, retrograde flags or sensitive points. There is no partner input, compatibility score or paid forecast. All twelve sign readings are free.
Use this house as a topic about how an activity or introduction begins. A body here brings its symbolic question into that topic. It does not assess the body, appearance, health or how others actually perceive you. Compare a specific introduction with what you intended to communicate.
This context concerns resources, possessions and what you choose to value. An ordinary example is deciding which materials a hobby needs. It is not a wealth score, an income forecast or advice about saving and investing. Use real resources and constraints when a practical choice is involved.
Read this house through ordinary messages, nearby activities and learning. A body supplies the question you bring to that context. You might compare two ways to explain a route. The placement does not establish language ability, intelligence, a sibling relationship or a future journey.
This is a symbolic context for home, remembered roots or a private base. Home can have different meanings and need not imply a particular family structure. A small example is choosing a corner that feels your own. The chart does not disclose family history, childhood conditions or housing prospects.
Use this house as a context for making something, playing or enjoying an activity. It can support a concrete reflection about an experiment in a hobby. Traditional associations with romance or children are not predictions about relationships or fertility, and no creative ability is measured by a body occupying this house.
This context concerns ordinary tasks and the arrangements that keep an activity going. Consider a manageable routine and who agreed to do it. Although historical astrology includes health in this house, this tool makes no health assessment, diagnosis or treatment suggestion from its placements.
Read this house through a specific exchange or agreement between participants. Ask what each person actually said and accepted. A placement does not identify a partner, predict marriage or measure compatibility. Mutual preferences and consent must come from the people involved, not the chart.
This context can frame questions about what is shared and how access or responsibility is agreed. A low-stakes example is lending an item and clarifying its return. It is not a forecast of debt, inheritance, loss, death or danger. Use actual agreements and appropriate professional advice for consequential matters.
Use this house for a topic about a broader account, a course of study or a belief you are considering. A body adds a symbolic question, not an endorsement of the belief. Comparing two sources can make the reflection concrete. The placement does not forecast travel, qualifications or spiritual achievement.
This is a context for what becomes visible to a group and the responsibilities attached to a role. A small example is presenting a shared project's progress. It does not rank status, choose a career or predict recognition. Your actual responsibilities, skills and circumstances remain the relevant evidence.
Read this house through participation in a group or a shared hope. You might examine how an activity includes its members or how a common aim is described. A placement does not measure popularity, social support or a friend's intentions, and it does not guarantee that a hope will be fulfilled.
This context can concern time away from an audience, unfinished thoughts or an activity kept private. A simple example is deciding which notes are only for yourself. The house does not expose hidden enemies, unconscious motives, mental illness or a karmic debt. Privacy need not conceal a problem to be valuable.
No birth information is needed. Each reading distinguishes Sun, Moon, rising and other-body roles, with ordinary scenes and reflections. These are not twelve measured personality outcomes.
Explore the Aries ram symbol through initiative and beginnings. Read distinct Sun, Moon and rising contexts, body-role examples and a practical reflection.
Read the Taurus bull symbol through continuity and experience. Compare Sun, Moon and rising roles, familiar comforts and an exercise in flexible routine.
Read the Gemini twins as an image of curiosity and exchange. Read Sun, Moon and rising separately, compare words with feelings and follow one clear question.
Explore the Cancer crab through care, belonging and boundaries. Compare its Sun, Moon and rising contexts with examples and a voluntary act-of-care prompt.
Read the Leo lion as a symbol of expression and recognition. Separate Sun, Moon and rising roles, examine feedback and explore what matters beyond applause.
Understand Virgo through discernment and useful detail. Compare Sun, Moon and rising contexts, standards and one improvement with a clear finish condition.
Explore Libra's scales through balance and negotiation. Read Sun, Moon and rising roles, include your own view and compare criteria for a shared choice.
Read Scorpio's scorpion through depth and privacy. Compare Sun, Moon and rising contexts, distinguish inquiry from speculation and define a voluntary boundary.
Explore Sagittarius through the archer, learning and perspective. Compare Sun, Moon and rising roles, question a larger story and try an unfamiliar explanation.
Understand Capricorn's sea-goat through time and structure. Read Sun, Moon and rising contexts, distinguish commitment from obligation and set a workable scope.
Read Aquarius, an air sign, through systems and perspectives. Compare Sun, Moon and rising roles and ask how a shared rule works for its participants.
Explore Pisces through the two fish and imagination. Compare Sun, Moon and rising roles, distinguish impressions from observations and give an image a form.
They describe different calculated positions. The Sun and Moon occupy their own longitudes, while the Ascendant depends on the horizon at the time and coordinates. The symbols also have different reading roles. Different signs do not indicate conflicting personalities or a hidden true sign.
This edition requires a known time and does not substitute noon. Without it, the rising point and houses cannot be shown responsibly, and a Moon near a sign boundary may also be uncertain. All public sign and method readings remain available without submitting birth information.
First compare the local time, historical zone and UTC instant, then coordinates, tropical versus sidereal zodiac, house system, astronomical model and rounding. A mismatch does not identify which input or model is responsible by itself. Do not change the birth data merely to obtain a preferred sign.
No. It means none of the ten displayed bodies is assigned to that whole-sign house. It does not forecast a missing relationship, career, home or experience. The house remains a topic in the chart's symbolic organization.
The table follows the astrological grouping of ten bodies. Astronomically the Sun is a star, the Moon a natural satellite and Pluto a dwarf planet. The Ascendant is a point rather than a body. The labels explain the grouping instead of changing those classifications.
It means several calculated longitudes fall within the same 30-degree sign sector. You may read the same symbol alongside different body roles. It does not multiply evidence of a personality trait, and the ten-body counts are not independent observations about you.
The calculated table, contextual Sun/Moon/rising cards, ten body-role explanations, house contexts and all twelve sign readings are free. You can open every sign reading without entering birth information. No purchase or account is required to reveal an interpretation.
No such decision is supported by this chart. The symbols can supply optional conversation or reflection prompts. Decisions with consequences need relevant evidence, the preferences and consent of the people involved, and qualified advice where appropriate.
Computation uses Astronomy Engine2.1.19 (MIT), with its default time-scale model, and Temporal polyfill0.5.1 (ISC) for civil time. Reference points come from IANA's public-domain2026e table; the browser may use a different time-zone data version. Positions are apparent geocentric tropical longitudes. The Ascendant is the eastern horizon intersection using true-equator/horizon rotations, with whole-sign houses.
A reproducible astronomical calculation can support the displayed positions. It does not validate a symbolic interpretation of personality or events. Publisher references explain how a tradition uses the symbols; they are not empirical evidence that a placement causes the described theme.
Sign and body references explain publisher conventions. FermatMind wrote the prose, scenes and reflection questions without copying a competitor report or claiming psychometric validation or author endorsement. This edition shows ten body placements, the Ascendant, whole-sign houses and symbolic readings. It does not currently calculate aspects, apparent retrograde, the Midheaven, IC, Descendant or sensitive points.
