Original practice bank · All explanations and revision guides free
Solve 30 original number-series tasks with stated rule families. Get every worked answer and five free guides. Untimed, no signup, IQ or hiring score.
30 questions · about 18 minutes · no signup
Answer 30 four-option questions, six per topic. Find a missing final or middle term under the rule family explicitly stated in each prompt. For recurrence questions, use the stated integer coefficient limits. Exactly one offered value fits; equivalent rule descriptions may exist. A correct choice adds one and another valid choice zero, without guessing penalty, partial credit or speed adjustment. Paper and a calculator are allowed. Keep signs and exact decimal values; no rounding is requested. All answers are required before the full report. Eighteen minutes is an editorial estimate, not observed completion data.

Practise constant differences, constant ratios, changing gaps, interleaved arithmetic branches and bounded two-term recurrences. FermatMind independently wrote 30 tasks, 120 alternatives, every rationale and five complete revision guides. Exact-fraction checks test every offered value against its prompt-defined rule family, including all 252 allowed coefficient triples in recurrence items. This verifies conditional answer keys, not psychometric validity or a unique continuation among every possible formula. The public guides are five topics, not ranked ability types. The bank uses no licensed employer, IQ or JobCannon questions, scores or norms. Counts do not establish speed, intelligence, percentile, job readiness, certification, cross-language calibration or training gains. This edition is specifically about sequences rather than the broader arithmetic, ratio, data and rate tasks in numerical reasoning.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Practise signed differences, missing middle terms and position counting. Six original answers are a local revision record, without a speed or ability band.
Review multiplication factors, negative ratios and exact decimal terms. These six answers concern a stated rule family, without a norm or certification.
Work through additive and multiplicative gap patterns, signed changes and middle blanks. Six local counts do not imply IQ, ranking or test readiness.
Separate odd and even arithmetic branches, locate missing terms and check zero steps. Six original exercises supply worked feedback without an ability label.
Check bounded recurrences at every transition, including equivalent rule descriptions. Six practice answers supply no norm, IQ or hiring prediction.
Yes. All 30 questions, choices, correct keys, rationales and five complete guides are free, with no account, email, payment or certificate purchase. You can read the public guides before starting.
Yes, if no family is specified. Here each prompt constrains the rule family; exactly one offered value satisfies it. Equivalent rule expressions may remain, especially for recurrences. This is not a claim of one universally possible formula.
No. These are independent practice questions with no licensed vendor items, norms, percentile, hiring pass mark or certification. Correct counts do not predict another test or diagnose intelligence.
There is no timer or speed score. Paper and a calculator are allowed. Eighteen minutes is an editorial estimate rather than measured completion data. Decimal terms are exact and no item requests rounding.
Yes. Return to previous questions, optionally save a browser-tab draft for up to 24 hours, or exit and clear. Completion and retake clear the saved draft. Without saving, refreshing loses progress. Retakes after viewing keys may reflect memory.
Only the public test title and link. Choices, counts, correct keys, draft data and private identifiers are not put in the shared URL. You do not receive an inferred ability label for sharing.
Each group contains six items, giving a total count out of 30. Correct choices add one equally, without timing or reverse scoring. Missing or invalid choices must be resolved before reporting; they are not silently converted to wrong answers. Zero, partial and perfect counts all unlock the same complete answers and guides. The five public topics are stable revision pages, not outcome bands or a diagnosis.
For a fresh example, 13, 18, 23, ?, 33 with a constant additive step has the missing value 28. If the constant-step condition were removed, other formulas could fit the visible values and assign a different missing value. Every question here states its family so the offered options can be tested. In recurrence items only the published coefficient range applies; no unseen exception is introduced near the blank.
Write positions above the numbers and a separate line for gaps when appropriate. Interleaved rows split by odd and even positions, while recurrence rules use the previous one or two positions. Do not confuse the next gap with the next original term. For a fresh row 6, 10, 18, 34, the gaps 4, 8, 16 double, so the next original term is 34 + 32 = 66, not 32.
All 120 alternatives are substituted into complete rows and checked with exact arithmetic against the stated families. Recurrence checks allow multiple matching coefficient descriptions when they give the same sole offered value. The checks do not prove general ability, fairness, reliability or validity. Reference pages explain mathematics, not this bank’s measurement quality, and no textbook example or third-party item bank was copied.
