Original practice bank · All explanations and revision guides free
Try 23 original questions on budgets, interest, risk, pay and benefits. Free worked answers and three full guides. Fictional figures; untimed practice.
23 questions · about 10 minutes · no signup
Read each fictional condition and choose one answer. Amounts use generic currency units, not a specified national currency. Stated rates, deductions, fees and benefit caps are assumptions rather than current offers, tax rates or universal rules. There is no timer or speed bonus; around ten minutes is an editorial estimate. All 23 valid choices are required for counts: seven budget items, eight saving-and-risk items and eight pay-and-benefit items. Using a calculator or reference changes your practice conditions; the count is not a certification or a personal financial recommendation.

Can you reconcile a budget, trace interest or read the stated terms of a benefit? Work through 23 original scenarios in three groups: budget and spending, saving and risk, and pay and benefits. The questions use fictional currency units, rates and conditions. Fifteen numerical keys and fifteen new guide examples were checked with integer or Decimal arithmetic; the remaining concepts were reviewed against selected primary financial-education sources. Every explanation and all three full guides are free. You supply no personal income, account or document.
A matching key counts as one correct item; another valid choice counts as zero. The three sections have 7, 8 and 8 items, with a total out of 23. All valid choices are needed before personal counts appear. There is no partial credit, time weighting, percentile or ability band. Compare section counts with their own denominators.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Review seven fictional budget tasks: balances, shortfalls, saving periods, infrequent costs, discounts and spending records.
Review eight choices about interest, purchasing power, fees, emergency reserves, diversification, red flags and liquidity.
Review eight fictional payroll and benefit choices, including net pay, matching, premiums, reimbursements and a visible mismatch.
It covers 23 original knowledge scenarios: seven budget and spending items, eight saving and risk items and eight pay and benefit items. It asks for correct choices under stated fictional conditions rather than your own financial details.
No. Currency units, rates, periods, fees, deductions and benefit limits are fictional assumptions. They are not actual product quotes, tax rates or universal legal and employment rules.
No. It counts matching answers on this finite bank and shows explanations. It does not know your circumstances, choose investments, prescribe a budget, rank real jobs or give financial qualifications.
Yes. Every complete valid attempt receives all selected choices, keys, worked explanations and three complete guides, regardless of count. Public guides can be read before starting. No email, account or payment is required.
There is no timer or speed bonus. Around ten minutes is an editorial estimate. You can choose your practice conditions, including a calculator or references, and interpret your count under those conditions.
Answers stay in the browser. Optional tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion, exit-and-clear or retake; refresh loses progress without one. Sharing copies only a public practice link, without answers, counts or private identifiers.
Zero, partial and perfect counts all include every prompt, selected choice, key and worked explanation, followed by the same three full guides. Public guides are also readable before starting. No email, signup, payment or certificate purchase unlocks a withheld answer.
The scenarios stipulate their rates, periods, deductions, fees and eligibility. They do not state actual tax law, market prices, product returns or benefit entitlements. This is knowledge and arithmetic practice, without a personal portfolio, budget prescription or job-offer ranking. No financial service or account is accessed by the test.
FermatMind wrote the scenarios, distractors, explanations and guides. Selected primary references support general definitions; their example banks and competitor results are not copied. This is not an official, normed or independently validated financial-literacy instrument. Retaking repeats the fixed bank, so improvement after reading the keys can reflect recall.
