Original practice bank · All explanations and revision guides free
Predict 24 original Python programs, checked with CPython 3.14.5. Read all worked answers and four full guides. No hiring tier or certificate.
24 questions · about 10 minutes · no signup
Read each snippet as an independent .py script checked with CPython 3.14.5. Choose exact printed text or the stated syntax-error outcome before execution. Indentation is part of the code. Programs use invented ASCII values and no external input, files, network, third-party libraries or assumed set iteration order. Code, punctuation and Boolean spellings stay identical across interfaces; instructions and explanations are bilingual. There is no timer or speed bonus. All 24 valid choices are required before personal counts appear. If you consult references, interpret the attempt under those conditions.

All questions and full results are free, with no signup. Saving is optional; only saved attempts can be resumed after a refresh or language change. Tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion or retake.
Can this script begin execution, and what does it print? Read 24 independently written Python programs across values and text, loops and functions, collections and aliases, and errors and objects. Each was checked with CPython 3.14.5: 22 produce the stated output and two fail parsing as intended. Every worked explanation and all four full revision guides are free. This is a fixed read-and-predict practice bank. It needs no installation, account or file upload and does not run scripts supplied by visitors.
Each matching key contributes one correct item; another valid option contributes zero. Four six-item groups total a count out of 24. There is no weighting, partial credit, reverse scoring or time bonus. All 24 valid choices are required before personal counts appear. Missing answers are not silently filled.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Review negative floor division, remainder, exponentiation, slices, split/strip and truth values.
Review stepped ranges, continue, return expressions, definition-time defaults and two syntax failures.
Review list identity, shallow copies, dictionary updates and defaults, set size and filtered comprehensions.
Review matching exceptions, finally, instance attributes, successful context-manager entry and generator yields.
Each snippet is an independent .py script checked with CPython 3.14.5. Indentation matters. The tasks use selected core behaviours, not external input, files, network, third-party libraries or a guessed set iteration order. No universal interpreter-compatibility claim is made.
No. Read the displayed program and select an outcome. The site does not execute visitor scripts, require uploads or inspect private files. The same English code and output values appear in both interfaces, with bilingual instructions and explanations.
No. It counts matching answers in this original bank only. There are no validated beginner-to-expert tiers, norms, hiring thresholds, career matches or vendor qualifications. Recognising visible outcomes differs from building and maintaining software independently.
Yes. Complete all 24 valid choices to read every program, selected answer, key and worked explanation. All four public guides can also be read before starting. No signup, email, payment or certificate purchase is required.
There is no timer or speed bonus. Around ten minutes is an editorial estimate. Retake repeats the same fixed bank, not a calibrated parallel form. After reading the keys, try fresh small programs; improved repeat counts can reflect memory.
Answers remain in your browser. Optional tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion, exit-and-clear or retake; without one, refresh loses progress. Sharing copies only a public practice link, without answers, correct counts or private identifiers.
The report preserves every original program, selected option, key and explanation. All four complete guides remain readable at zero, partial and perfect counts. A 3/6 section count means three matching keys in those supplied six tasks. It is not a percentile, developer level, employer pass mark or qualification.
The bank was verified with CPython 3.14.5 as independent scripts. Selected Python 3.14 documentation supplies reference context, without claiming the latest feature coverage or compatibility across every interpreter and library. It does not assess developing an application, handling live data or diagnosing production incidents. Retake repeats the same bank; around ten minutes is an editorial estimate, not a measured timing benchmark.
FermatMind authored the snippets, distractors, explanations and guides. Source links explain selected language rules; their example programs and proprietary recruitment banks are not reproduced. This independent practice has no vendor endorsement or certification. The website displays code as escaped text and scores your selections locally; it does not execute scripts supplied by visitors.
These sources provide background, not validation of this questionnaire or an individual diagnosis.
