Full 92-item SPQ · Working Chinese · Full guide, free
Read and answer the full published 92-item SPQ, with the current official 44 reverse keys, an optional unscored choice and a complete free raw-total guide.
92 questions · about 20 minutes · no signup
Read each source statement and indicate agreement from your existing experience or knowledge of yourself. Do not try out the actions described. The source does not specify a recent recall window. If you cannot judge or prefer not to answer, choose the added unscored option. English follows the published 2014 bank; Chinese is a new, unvalidated FermatMind working translation.

This adult self-report follows the full 92 English statements published in 2014 and the current official 92-item key. Chinese is a new working translation. There are no score bands, diagnoses, sensory types or job matches. Time is an untimed estimate.
This edition retains the 92 English statements in Table 4 of Tavassoli, Hoekstra and Baron-Cohen’s 2014 SPQ paper. It is not the separately downloaded 35-item form. Chinese is a new FermatMind working translation without established language equivalence. Questions address reported experience across hearing, vision, touch, smell and taste; this page produces one overall raw total, not five invented independent scales.
Strongly agree, agree, disagree and strongly disagree have raw values 0, 1, 2 and 3. The current official 92-item key reverses 44 items using 3 minus the raw value; other items retain it. Add all 92 scored values for a 0–276 total. For example, choosing Agree throughout gives 48 × 1 + 44 × 2 = 136. This is an arithmetic example, not a midpoint category or population average.
The printed table marks 42 reversed statements in italics, while the current official 92-item key lists 44, also including items 6 and 53. This website explicitly uses the latter key. It does not silently combine the short-form order or key, or claim why the two documents differ. This distinction matters because identical responses can yield different sums under different keys.
All 92 numeric responses are needed for this website’s total. An unscored response withholds the total; it never becomes zero or an estimated rating. All unscored choices can finish and leave the complete guide available. This strict rule is an editorial policy, not a validated missing-data threshold. Lower totals indicate more self-reported sensitivity under this key, without measuring an objective detection threshold, diagnosing a condition or assigning a sensory type. Answer from existing experience; never perform painful, risky or uncomfortable trials for an item.

These are public explanations, not anyone's private attempt. Full reports cover all 1 single directions and every tied combination. Reading one does not affect your score.
Read what the full published SPQ total summarizes, how 44 reverse keys work, why missing information stays missing, and how to discuss a concrete sensory need without a type label.
No. It retains all 92 published English statements and applies the current official 92-item key. It does not import the separate short-form wording, order or five reverse indices.
Under this key it reflects more self-reported sensory sensitivity. There is no score band, percentile, autism or ADHD classification, occupational match or judgment of personal worth.
The current official 92-item key includes them in its 44 reverse indices, whereas the printed table marks 42 items. This website identifies that choice explicitly without inventing a cause or claiming one file corrects the other.
Yes. An unscored response withholds the overall total and preserves the full guide. It does not become zero. All unscored choices still finish; you do not need to try the activity.
No detection task is administered. Read each statement using existing experience or knowledge of yourself. Do not expose yourself to pain, loud sound, chemicals, unsafe driving or other risky trials for an answer.
No. It is a new FermatMind working translation. This website has not established its reliability, language equivalence, norms or clinical validity; original study findings are not automatically transferred to it.
All 92 questions and the full public guide are free without signup. An optional tab draft expires within 24 hours and clears on completion or reset. Public sharing includes only a title and link, not answers or personal totals.
