Original practice bank · All explanations and revision guides free
Practise 30 original rotations, mirrors, folds, cube turns and layouts. Worked answers and five full guides, free. Untimed text-and-coordinate tasks.
30 questions · about 18 minutes · no signup
Answer 30 original four-option tasks, six per topic. Fixed axes, fold portions, cube moves and the quantity requested are stated in each task. One correct adds one; another valid choice adds zero. No timer, guessing penalty, partial credit or speed adjustment applies. Paper, sketches and a calculator are allowed. Finish all items to read every worked answer and all five complete guides. Eighteen minutes is an editorial estimate, not measured completion data.

This original edition practises spatial transformations through written directions and exact coordinates: planar rotations, reflections, ideal paper folds, labelled cube turns, projections and short routes. Read the coordinate convention before transforming an object. The tasks and all prose are independently written; no commercial figures, instrument items or competitor answers are reproduced. Exact integer geometry and a separate matrix, inverse-fold and voxel implementation check the stated cases. Reading and arithmetic familiarity are part of these written tasks. There is no nonverbal-instrument equivalence, norm, percentile, intelligence estimate, hiring threshold or evidence of training transfer. All five revision guides remain available together at every complete score.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Review quarter-turns, non-origin centres, whole shapes and composition with worked examples. Original untimed text-and-coordinate practice, without norms.
Work through axis and diagonal mirrors, non-origin lines and rotation order. Complete examples for original coordinate practice, without ability bands.
Follow ideal folds, inverse hole positions, sheet bounds and partial unfolding with complete examples. Original untimed practice, without a norm.
Track labelled faces through explicit forward, right and yaw turns. Full examples explain order, fixed positions and the limits of six written tasks.
Review orthographic cells, full-stack counts, silhouette heights and observer-relative directions with complete worked examples and clear score limits.
Yes. All 30 original questions, every worked answer and all five complete guides are free without signup, email or payment. Public guides can also be read before an attempt.
No. This edition uses written coordinates and explicit transformation rules. It has no equivalence to a nonverbal instrument, IQ score, employer test, norm, percentile or hiring threshold.
Planar rotations, reflections, ideal paper folds, labelled cube turns, and layouts or views each contain six tasks. Fixed axes and the requested position, face or projected count are stated explicitly.
Yes. There is no timer or speed adjustment. Sketch the stated coordinates and face labels, check the order, and choose the exact offered answer. Reading and arithmetic familiarity remain part of this task format.
No. Counts describe only these fixed tasks. Familiarity and remembered answers can affect a retake. Review the actual transformations; this practice provides no evidence of training transfer to other tests or real-world activities.
An explicit opt-in saves this edition’s progress in this browser tab for 24 hours. Completion, clear or retake removes it. Sharing copies the public title and URL only, without a private answer sheet or score.
The planar grid uses +x to the right and +y upward. A turn moves the object within fixed axes. Folds use the original sheet axes, stated bounds and a point-sized hole in an ideal zero-thickness sheet. Cube letters mark faces and travel with them through explicitly defined quarter-turns; a view count asks for projected cells, not necessarily all cubes.
Complete valid answers produce a total out of 30 and five counts out of six. Missing choices withhold a report rather than silently becoming errors. Zero, partial and perfect scores reveal the same 30 answers and all five full topic guides. These public pages are not private score reports or ability bands. A count alone does not identify the cause of an error.
For a fresh example, rotating P = (4, 2) a quarter-turn counterclockwise about the origin gives (−2, 4), because (x, y) becomes (−y, x). The squared distance stays 20, and a clockwise quarter-turn returns to (4, 2). For a non-origin centre, subtract the centre, transform the offset and add the centre back. A length check can detect some errors but cannot distinguish two rotations with the same radius.
Two separately implemented calculations check these particular keys: direct exact geometry and matrix rotations, inverse fold preimages, labelled face normals, voxel projections and heading-state walks. This is a correctness check under each written convention, not independent expert-panel review, psychometric validation, proof of all natural-language interpretations or a validated picture-based spatial instrument. References support elementary geometry facts without endorsing this bank.
