Choose the correctly spelled English word for each original sentence. All 24 items have four options and one key among the displayed forms. English sentences and options stay English in both interface languages. Finish every item for all keys, explanations and four full guides. There is no timer. For unaided practice, avoid dictionaries and spellcheck until finishing; if you use aids, interpret the count under those conditions. This is recognition practice, not dictation, a CEFR level or a school or employer exam.

Practise 24 English spellings in independently written sentence contexts. Four six-word groups cover doubled consonants, vowel choices, letter order and selected word endings. Dictionary headwords or explicitly listed forms were checked for the keys; the sentences, distractors, explanations and guides are original. Your result shows this edition’s correct counts, every answer and all four guides. It does not estimate vocabulary size, writing accuracy, language level or job suitability. The Chinese interface translates instructions and explanations while preserving the English stimuli.
Each correct choice adds one and each incorrect choice adds zero. Four six-word groups sum to a count out of 24, without weighting, reverse scoring or a speed bonus. All 24 valid choices are required. Missing answers are not filled in or silently counted as wrong.
A count of 4/6 means four matching keys among these six words. It is not a percentile, grade, proficiency band or diagnosis. Zero, partial and perfect results all show every selected answer, correct form and explanation plus all four full guides. Use a missed letter sequence to choose what to practise next.
This edition has no audio, dictation or free-text writing mark. Four visible alternatives give cues. No population norms, CEFR mapping, school-age level, hiring cutoff or psychometric validation is established. Familiarity, checking tools and remembered answers can affect the count. English stimuli are identical in both interfaces, but cross-language measurement equivalence is not established.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Review broccoli, dilemma, possess, interrupt, occurring and aggressive through letter counts, position checks and a short recall routine.
Review deliberate, cemetery, desperate, fluorescent, abundance and convenient by marking the exact vowel positions that differ between options.
Review freight, leisure, receipt, ancient, shield and fierce without treating an i-before-e slogan as an exception-free spelling rule.
Review happiness, argument, noticeable, achievable, sincerely and loneliness by comparing what changes and what stays in each complete form.
It checks recognition of 24 selected English spellings in original sentences. The report gives correct counts and complete explanations, not overall English proficiency, dictation skill, a CEFR level or a writing grade.
The target is English spelling. Instructions and explanations are bilingual, while sentence stimuli and spelling alternatives remain English. Translating the target words into Chinese would change the task. No cross-language score equivalence is claimed.
Yes. Finish all 24 choices to see every selected answer, correct form and explanation. All four full public guides can also be read before starting. No signup, email, payment or certificate purchase is required.
There is no timer. For unaided recognition practice, leave dictionaries and spellcheck until after submitting. The product does not enforce exam conditions. If you use help or repeat after seeing answers, interpret the count under those conditions rather than as a standardized score.
Answers stay in the browser. Optional tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion, exit-and-clear or retake. Without a draft, refresh loses progress. Sharing copies a public test link without answers, correctness counts or private identifiers.
FermatMind wrote the sentence contexts, options, explanations and revision guides. Merriam-Webster headwords were read for the 24 selected spellings; occurring is explicitly listed under occur. Dictionary definitions, examples, audio and competitor questions are not reproduced. No external licensed scale, proprietary scoring system or certificate is used. The displayed alternatives avoid using a known legitimate regional variant as a wrong key.
