Replace guessing with questions people can answer
Telepathy is a playful metaphor for listening and checking understanding in this edition. It does not mean reading minds, consistently accurate intuition or high EQ. People retain the authority to describe their own experience.
Telepathy options appear sixteen times across twenty questions, four times in each position. Each selection adds one raw choice. Completion reveals all five counts and the full report for every highest-count power. Counts are not match percentages, and nearby counts do not establish stable primary and secondary types or validated personality distances.
What these choices point to
You may prefer asking how someone understands a situation and what matters to them before responding to a need. This attention can happen in a short everyday exchange without becoming everyone’s emotional adviser. Look at the questions you selected rather than concluding that you can always see through people.
Where the approach may help
A question gives an interpretation a chance to be corrected. Ask whether timing or the arrangement itself matters more, for example. The person can add information, disagree or not answer yet. You need not get it right on the first attempt; the useful part is making clarification possible.
A tradeoff to notice
Continually asking what someone really thinks can make them feel obliged to disclose every feeling. Check whether they want to talk and accept a refusal. State how long you can listen too. Understanding does not require unlimited attention or an answer that satisfies your curiosity.
An everyday situation
A meeting changes unexpectedly and you wonder whether it mattered to the other person. Ask what happened and state the effect on you. If private details are not available, discuss how to confirm next time instead of filling the unknown space with a verdict about the relationship.
Comparing Invisibility and Time Control
Telepathy options emphasise checking with the person involved, Invisibility observing details and preserving private space, and Time Control deciding when to talk and how much time is available. The approaches can work together. They do not rank empathy, composure or communication ability.
One small experiment
When you notice yourself guessing, ask one specific question and allow a correction. Afterwards, distinguish what the person said from what remains your interpretation. No private conversation needs to be recorded or uploaded. Practise reducing assumptions rather than collecting information about someone.
Does this mean I can sense someone’s thoughts?
It does not. The items do not test mind reading, EQ, emotional recognition or intuitive accuracy. Even a confident impression should be checked with the person rather than using a result to define their feelings. The result reflects selected preferences for asking and listening within this set.
Scope of interpretation
The items, power assignments and reports are FermatMind’s original entertainment metaphors, without established reliability, validity or population norms. This edition records preferences for asking, changing perspective, pacing, private observation and practical help. It does not detect actual powers, mental health, EQ, intelligence, physical strength or career fit. A result gives no right to access someone’s private information or decide for them, and does not require acting by the label.
