Do particular symbols seem linked with colours, or familiar sequences with spatial layouts? This original synesthesia test (also spelled synaesthesia) helps you describe recalled experiences. It is a self-reflection checklist, not a laboratory battery, a type classifier or a confirmation of synaesthesia. Every complete guide is available before answering.
Responses stay only in page memory and clear on refresh, language change, leaving or retaking. No draft, account, sensory example, colour map or response-bearing share link is created.

FermatMind Editorial independently authored the fifteen prompts, four response labels and five complete bilingual guides. Each editorial family has three prompts. They are not validated factors, a shortened published test or a licensed translation of another battery. Taste-touch groups distinct reported phenomena for navigation only; individual responses remain visible.
The references explain reported phenomena and the difference between subjective recall and controlled tasks. They do not validate this checklist. We do not reproduce Synesthesia Battery stimuli, code, colour-distance methods, cutoffs or research classifications. A conceptual continuum is not used as a personal measurement scale.
Every prompt needs an explicit choice. Yes records a recalled matching experience. No records relevant opportunities but no recalled matching experience in the past three months; it does not establish lifetime absence. Unsure and no opportunity / decline remain separate. Blank is incomplete, while explicit unsure or skip is valid.
For each family, display the four literal counts out of three and repeat all three chosen answers. The counts sum to three without imputing missing information or treating uncertainty and skips as no. All-uncertain and all-skip responses can finish. No overall sum, mean, strength, percentage, winner, type, threshold, probability, norm or diagnosis is calculated.
Use ordinary recollections only. No sounds, foods, observed-touch videos, images, flashing patterns or exposure tasks are supplied or required. There is no camera, recording, bodily map, colour picker or timer. You may skip or leave whenever you prefer; a positive response is not required to read the guides.
The three-month window is editorial rather than a criterion for lifelong experience. English and Chinese have not been validated as equivalent forms. Repeating the checklist does not test consistency or automaticity and is not validated for tracking change. Counts do not establish intelligence, empathy, creativity, hearing, memory or health.
All five complete guides explain concrete descriptions, nearby experiences, response rules, research limits and optional everyday distinctions. They are identical public explanations for everyone, free before answering and expandable after the record. These are five guides within one checklist, not five independent tests or hidden personalized reports.
Sharing copies all five public links without selected responses or counts. Separate aphantasia and Big Five entries are optional, with their own scope and methods; neither verifies synaesthesia or explains its cause. If an experience is new, distressing or disruptive, seek appropriate advice based on what happened rather than a checklist category.
Read without answering. These pages are identical for everyone, without personal responses or scores.
No. It records recollections of fifteen original descriptions. It does not reproduce controlled consistency, automaticity or interference testing, assign a type or diagnose a condition. Synesthesia Test is the topic name, not a confirmation claim.
They are spelling variants for the same topic here and share this single entry. This is an original self-reflection checklist, not the Synesthesia Battery or a validated short form of it.
No external projection is required by these descriptions. An internal colour-like impression can be reported. Deliberate imagery, visible ink and metaphor may be different experiences; unsure is available when you cannot distinguish them.
No means relevant opportunities but no recalled matching experience in the window, not lifetime absence. Unsure and no opportunity / decline remain distinct counts. Every prompt needs a choice; all-uncertain or all-skip responses can finish without a classification.
No. Recollection and repeated controlled responses are different evidence. This checklist has no validated retest rule, change score, population norm or talent inference. No sensory exposure or induction exercise is needed.
Responses stay in page memory and clear on refresh, language change, leaving or retaking. Sharing contains all five public guides only. Optional anonymous action counts require both page permission and global analytics consent, without responses or family counts.
For voluntary visual imagery, separately explore the aphantasia entry; for broader preferences, explore Big Five. Neither verifies synaesthesia or explains its cause. Each entry shows its question count and time; no responses or counts are transferred.
