Rate confidence with six tool-learning tasks. See your sum, rated count and continuous mean, plus the full guide free. No skill level or job ranking.
6 questions · about 3 minutes · no signup
Think about the past month and rate your confidence in each of six small digital-tool tasks, from 1 (not at all confident) to 5 (very confident). Choose “No recent opportunity / prefer not to rate” when appropriate; it is unscored. All six prompts need a response before the result, with at least four numeric ratings for a mean. This is your confidence, not a demonstration of skill. Do not enter passwords, files or real account information. You can stop or read the full public guide without answering. Three minutes is an editorial estimate.

All questions and full results are free, with no signup. Saving is optional; only saved attempts can be resumed after a refresh or language change. Tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion or retake.
Explore how confident you feel about getting started, checking a step, choosing features, repeating a demonstration, explaining a sticking point and trying a reversible example. Six original prompts produce one continuous self-rating, with no right answers or proficiency types. The full guide explains arithmetic, missing responses, contrasting examples and one optional harmless task. It records perceived confidence, without a skills audit, computer-literacy examination, workplace benchmark or hiring decision. Psychometric validation, population norms and cross-language equivalence have not been established.
All six original prompts need a numeric 1–5 choice or an explicit unscored response. Add numeric values only and divide by their count, with at least four numeric answers; round to one decimal. There are no reverse items, hidden weights, percentages or low/medium/high cutoffs.
This mean summarises self-rated confidence about the six stated situations in the past month. It does not show observed success, speed, correct knowledge, digital fluency, security habits, job fit or earning potential. No ranking or type is assigned, and all valid means use the same complete continuous guide.
A mean of 4.0 from four ratings and 4.0 from six ratings have different coverage. A missing opportunity is excluded, not treated as zero. Read the raw sum and numeric-response count beside the mean; the full guide includes worked examples of equal means from different answer patterns.
Read what each of the 1 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.
Read the six confidence prompts, their arithmetic, missing-answer policy, contrasting examples and an optional small experiment. No proficiency type or workplace comparison.
No. It asks how confident you feel in six stated task situations, without observing performance or testing correct answers.
After all six responses, sum only numeric 1–5 ratings and divide by their count. At least four are required; the mean is rounded to one decimal. Unscored responses are excluded.
Use the unscored no-opportunity / prefer-not-to-rate option, or stop. It is never converted to zero. With fewer than four numeric answers, no personal mean is produced.
No. This original edition has one continuous reading and no proficiency thresholds, norms or career ranking. A mean is not a skills certificate.
Yes. The entire six-section guide is public before answering, and the full personal arithmetic is shown after an eligible complete attempt. No upgrade or registration is required.
The copy control uses only the title, a general reading label and a public link. It includes no personal answers, sum or mean. Optional progress is stored in this tab only and can be cleared.
An unfinished attempt gives no result. Once all six prompts are answered, fewer than four numeric ratings produce an explicit insufficient-information message and no personal mean. The full general guide stays available, including when every response is unscored. Unknown choices or item IDs are invalid, not imputed.
Items, equal-weight arithmetic, minimum-response rule and full reading were written for this original edition. The six tasks concern confidence in learning and checking tools; objectively keyed computer questions and task-evidence inventories answer different questions. No psychometric or cross-language validation is claimed.
Computation stays in the page. Optional tab-session drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion, retake or exit-and-clear. Copying contains a test title, general reading label and public link, without answers, sum or mean. No registration, payment, private file or account action is needed.
