TIPI is a very brief Big Five inventory by Gosling, Rentfrow and Swann (2003). This edition preserves its ten English trait pairs and scoring, with an independent FermatMind working Chinese translation. Reverse items 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 as 8 minus the original response. Average pairs 1/6R, 2R/7, 3/8R, 4R/9 and 5/10R for Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability and Openness. Each mean ranges from 1 to 7. Item 9 stays direct. No combined total, low/high bands, percentile, trait type or facet values are generated. The report retains every original and keyed response.

This TIPI edition reports Emotional Stability in the source direction: item 4 reversed and item 9 direct. It does not relabel that number Neuroticism. Other Big Five instruments may use a different direction and cannot be compared by the raw number alone.
