What does this quiz explore?
This web edition adapts FermatMind’s original LOVE_ROLE public preview, keeping all 24 Chinese items and the one-count-per-selected-option rule. English wording and four concise web portraits are new; this is not the full mini-program report. Each direction appears in 12 comparisons. Counts are relative to these pairs, all ties remain visible, and no thresholds or population norms apply. The preview has not undergone psychometric validation. Reflect on a current or recent relationship only if you want to; if the pairs do not fit, you can leave. Results do not diagnose attachment, rate relationship quality or predict partner compatibility.
Relative choices among romantic expression, practical partnership, emotional companionship and growth with autonomy.
How is your result decided?
Each option adds its declared points to a portrait. The highest total leads; ties show every leading portrait in the authored order. No result is drawn at random. Points belong only to this quiz, not a psychological scale or population ranking.
Every question, full portrait, example, and small experiment is free. Answers are evaluated in your browser, never sent to a server or put in the URL. Tab-session saving is optional, expires after 24 hours, and is not reused after a quiz-version change. It clears on completion, exit-and-clear, or retake. You can still finish on this page if storage is unavailable.
Meet the possible portraits
These are public portrait introductions, not anyone’s personal answers or result. No portrait is superior; different situations may bring out different sides.
Romantic Expression & Ritual
Romantic-expression choices received one of your highest raw counts across these pairs. You more often selected a meaningful occasion, shared symbol or memorable gesture when it stood beside another value direction. This describes the comparison within these answers, not how romantic you are in every relationship.
Practical Partnership
Practical-partnership responses received one of your highest counts in this questionnaire. You more often chose workable tasks, shared plans or concrete assistance when those choices were compared with another direction. The result is a relative choice count, not a measure of reliability, effort or relationship success.
Emotional Companionship
Emotional-companionship responses received one of your highest raw counts here. You more often selected attentive conversation, shared understanding or company when those options appeared beside another direction. This is not an emotional-intelligence score or evidence that you know another person’s feelings without asking.
Shared Growth & Autonomy
Growth-and-autonomy responses received one of your highest counts across these pairs. You more often chose personal direction, independent judgment or room for each person’s development when compared with another value. The result does not measure commitment or predict how close a relationship will become.
