Rate how accurately each phrase describes you as you generally are now, rather than your ideal self: 1 Very inaccurate, 2 Moderately inaccurate, 3 Neither inaccurate nor accurate, 4 Moderately accurate, 5 Very accurate. English retains IPIP phrases, not ability-test questions. Some concern your impression of others’ views, which have not been checked with them. Use NA for private beliefs, voluntary nonresponse or inability to judge. Make all 96 selections; a part requires all four valid ratings for its score. Declining brings no penalty and never hides a full guide.

How do you describe your curiosity, promise-keeping, care, caution and other everyday tendencies? This edition uses the official 96-item IPIP-VIA-R English short key with FermatMind’s independent Chinese trial translation and 24 full educational guides. Results record this attempt through concrete examples, tradeoffs, dialogue and optional observations. Positive labels do not create moral ranks, and perceived ability is not demonstrated performance. Read every public guide first if you wish.
First make all 96 selections. Each part has exactly four items: two positively and two negatively keyed. Valid ratings run from 1 Very inaccurate to 5 Very accurate; reverse items use six minus the rating. Only four valid ratings produce that part’s raw sum of 4–20 and its one-decimal mean, the sum divided by four, from 1–5. Voluntary nonresponse or inability to judge is never zero-filled or replaced with a midpoint; only that part remains insufficient. IPIP’s general instructions use keyed sums. Mean display, mixed order, NA and the all-four requirement are website presentation and completeness conventions. All 24 parts remain visible without a moral total, percentile, six-virtue total or highest-score assignment. Equal values remain equal. A 0.1 gap establishes neither significance, ability nor change, and no five signature strengths are automatically assigned.
All 24 parts remain available. Each shows a raw sum and mean only with four valid ratings, otherwise explicit insufficient information. Every full explanation remains readable. There is no overall good-or-bad score or forced assignment from rank, close scores or ties. Begin with concrete examples of items and their current context. Equal means imply no identical experiences, and small between-part gaps establish no truer strength.
Some source labels include wisdom, intelligence and leadership, but this edition contains self-description items without ability answers, performance tasks or independent observer feedback. It measures neither career interest, qualifications, trust nor relationship prospects. Separate RIASEC interest questions and actual tasks can inform further career exploration; frameworks do not convert and these means allocate no jobs.
Read what each of the 24 parts explores. Your complete result presents them together; they are not mutually exclusive personality types. These public guides contain no one’s answers or personal means.
Read self-reported attention and emotional responses to beauty, with an ordinary example, comparisons and limits rather than a taste or talent verdict.
Explore giving and receiving care, emotional sharing and relationship context through four self-ratings; this cannot establish another person’s feelings.
Read loyalty, support and preferences for solo work with a practical example, boundaries and comparison to leadership; no teamwork-ability certification.
Explore interest in activities and the world, compare learning and originality, and read lower endorsement without assuming low intelligence or motivation.
Read equal rights, personal preferences and treatment through a shared-cost example, with distinctions from identical treatment and personal kindness.
Explore understanding, fresh starts and resentment through an ordinary missed arrangement, while keeping consent, boundaries and accountability explicit.
Read gratitude through a concrete exchange of help, distinguishing thanks from optimism, indebtedness and the need to address continuing problems.
Explore future expectations and worries through an ordinary application example, separating reported optimism from evidence, planning and guaranteed outcomes.
Read laughter, humor in gloomy situations and self-perceived company through an ordinary mishap; distinguish levity from comedy talent or popularity.
Read persistence and completion through a reversible small task, distinguishing appropriate pauses, outdated goals and self-regulation without a willpower verdict.
Explore keeping confidences, promises and truthfulness through a changed arrangement, while separating honest communication from compulsory disclosure.
Read weighing alternatives and self-perceived judgment through an everyday comparison, distinguishing deliberation from intelligence, wisdom and guaranteed correctness.
Read helping, encouragement and impatience through an everyday request, distinguishing care from unlimited availability or an obligation to agree.
Explore self-perceived group coordination through an everyday arrangement, separating assigned roles, others’ preferences and demonstrated management ability.
Read enjoyment of learning and nonfiction through an ordinary tool example, distinguishing curiosity, persistence and available resources from academic ability.
Explore accomplishment talk and visibility through a shared-project example, separating modest presentation from self-erasure, confidence or moral superiority.
Read self-reported originality through an everyday arrangement, separating new ideas, practical checks and appreciation of beauty from tested creative performance.
Explore views of what matters and self-perceived wisdom through an everyday arrangement, separating context and useful questions from certified advice.
Read consequences and risk preferences through a reversible everyday choice, distinguishing deliberation from worry and from verified safety or competence.
Read discipline, longer-term tradeoffs and urges through a small interruption, with explicit limits around rest, eating, resources and judgments of worth.
Explore perceived feelings, responses and unfamiliar settings through an ordinary invitation, separating confidence from verified understanding or measured ability.
Read four belief-related items accurately, preserving nonbelief, privacy and different sources of meaning rather than ranking purpose, morality or personal worth.
Explore expressing convictions under opposition through a safe everyday disagreement, without equating bravery with risk-taking or judging someone’s silence.
Read daily anticipation, energy and self-impressions with distinctions from extraversion and health, allowing rest without a deficit or diagnostic label.
English phrases and keying follow the official 96-item IPIP-VIA-R short key attributed to Bluemke, Partsch, Saucier and Lechner (2021), with two positive and two negative items per part. This is neither the older variable-length IPIP-VIA nor the VIA Institute Survey, GACS or a Gallup tool. IPIP places its items, scales and inventories in the public domain, including commercial use. No protected VIA Institute items, algorithms, reports, art or translations are used. FermatMind independently drafted the Chinese trial translation and educational explanations. This website edition has no local validation, norms or established language equivalence. English–German research described by the official key and university record establishes neither Chinese validation nor universal cultural fairness. Scores describe this attempt, not worth, tested ability, diagnosis, hiring or career fit.

Four self-descriptions cannot rank worth, wisdom or ability. This edition retains 24 continuous means and full guides without turning small gaps, close scores or ties into fixed strength identities. Compare concrete experiences and decide which readings are useful now. Lower endorsement, nonbelief, rest and protecting boundaries imply no deficiency.
No. This is self-report without ability tasks, career-interest assessment, background checks or observer feedback. Career exploration can separately consider RIASEC interests and actual tasks, but interests do not certify ability or qualifications either. Assessments do not convert; these scores determine no hiring, trust, relationship or allocation of support.

The official IPIP 96-item key, comparison table, public-domain permission and generic scoring instructions were read, along with the full abstract and bibliographic record at Utrecht University. Its record for the 2021 preprint links a 2023 revision, but the PDF returned 403; the full methods and supplements were not reviewed. The public key can verify English items and reversal. An abstract validates neither this translation, missing-data handling, explanations nor individual judgments. The source title’s culture-fair wording is not a universal promise here.
