Tension and restlessness
Read the complete original topic without answering. This public explanation is the same for every visitor and contains no personal choices, counts or diagnosis.
Six category counts add to four descriptions, with individual choices retained. Unscored stays separate from did not notice. No total, mean, ranking, risk level or clinical inference.
Recall what you noticed without checking now
- These four original descriptions concern difficulty feeling settled during a pause, holding muscles tight, wanting to move when movement was not required and tolerating a small interruption while tense. They ask about your recollection of the past four weeks. You need not examine your body, create discomfort or change your breathing to decide which category to select.
- The topic title groups descriptions for reading; it does not say they have one cause or must occur together. A physical sensation, an urge to move and irritation are different experiences. You may select different categories for each. The page cannot decide that anxiety explains them, exclude a medical cause or establish that a sensation is harmless.
Count descriptions rather than symptoms or episodes
- Did not notice, rarely, sometimes, often and very often remain separate labels, alongside an explicit unscored category. Six counts add to four descriptions. This is not a symptom total, tension index or restlessness level. The page does not measure muscle activity, time spent moving, intensity of discomfort or the number of interruptions you experienced.
- In a fictional record, one sometimes, one often and two unscored selections mean exactly those four chosen descriptions. The two unscored responses cannot be changed to did not notice or estimated from the other answers. There is no combined total with the worry or everyday-activity topics, and no rule that the most common category describes the whole person.
A pause is a context, not a relaxation test
- You might remember an ordinary gap between activities in which settling felt difficult. Describing that gap does not test your ability to relax or establish that you should have felt calm. Demands may still have been present. The page cannot inspect the setting, judge whether it was safe or know what support or practical choices were available.
- Likewise, noticing a small interruption while tense does not establish an anger problem, blame another person or explain what happened next. The statement records your remembered experience, not observed behaviour or character. It does not ask you to revisit a disagreement, tolerate another interruption or prove that you can remain still or patient.
Keep bodily observations separate from clinical conclusions
- A recollection has no examination, medical history or measurements. A category cannot distinguish a psychological explanation from another health concern, medication effect, environmental demand or ordinary variation. Nor can the website decide which of those explanations is relevant to you. New or changing physical concerns should not be explained away by an online record.
- This is an original editorial topic, not GAD-7, a medical device or a published anxiety measure. Four descriptions do not constitute diagnostic criteria or a validated independent dimension. There are no clinical bands, population comparisons or English-to-Chinese norms. A small count, an all-unscored record or no noticed sensation cannot confirm health or rule out a condition.
Leave out an observation when recall is unclear
- Use unscored for no relevant experience, unclear recall or withholding an answer. You do not need to observe yourself for longer, test a muscle, count movements or seek a stronger example. The record can be finished with all four descriptions unscored, while the same complete guide and support information remain available.
- Later choices may differ because the activities, demands, recollections or interpretation of the wording differ. The page is not monitoring your body between visits. It supplies no target count, preferred answer or schedule for repeating observations. Differences cannot demonstrate recovery, deterioration, treatment response or a change in your ability to cope.
A question about support needs no threshold
- You may ask a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional about worry without completing the record, reaching a count or waiting six months. The website cannot decide that a concern is too small to discuss or that a clinical condition explains it. The linked NIMH publication provides broader assessment background; it supplies none of these original items, keys or validation.
- Keep existing advice, care and safety support independent of this page. It cannot assess medical need or urgency, explain a physical symptom or establish that a sensation is harmless or only anxiety. Do not use a category to postpone assessment, change medication or cancel support. In immediate danger or if you cannot stay safe, seek local emergency assistance rather than continue.
Describe a question without prescribing an exercise
- If useful, you may retain a simple phrase about what you noticed and the activity in which it happened. You do not have to attach a cause or a diagnosis. No relaxation, breathing, movement, stillness or exposure exercise is assigned. Keep useful supports and existing professional instructions independent of these categories, and stop whenever further recollection is unhelpful.
- Your selections remain in current-page memory without drafts, submissions, questionnaire analytics or a personal result URL. Exit, retake, refresh and leaving clear them. Copying shares only the public title and entry. This full reading remains identical for every visitor and needs no completed questionnaire, symptom demonstration or particular count.
