Energy, attention and inner words
Read this complete original public topic without answers. Every visitor sees the same explanation, without personal categories, counts or diagnosis.
Six separate category counts add to four descriptions. Each choice remains visible, and unscored stays distinct from did not notice. No total, mean, rank, risk tier or clinical inference.
Notice effort, attention and inner words separately
- Four original descriptions concern feeling short of energy when starting a familiar activity, difficulty staying with ordinary information, harsh inner words after a small setback and thoughts that what you did counted for little. If you choose to answer, recall the past four weeks. This is a bounded recollection of different experiences, not a test of intelligence, motivation, productivity or personal worth.
- The wording does not mean that these experiences always occur together or have one cause. You might recognise one description and leave another unscored. The page cannot observe you, read your thoughts or decide which account is most important. An experience outside these descriptions can matter to you without first being represented in this record.
Effort is not the same as achievement
- Imagine a familiar activity that felt harder to begin on one occasion. The record asks about remembering low energy beside that difficulty. It does not measure how much you accomplished or decide that energy caused every delay. Missing information, practical barriers, competing responsibilities and features of the activity are not resolved by choosing a category.
- Someone can complete an activity while finding it effortful, or leave it unfinished for reasons this topic never asks about. Neither account gives a work-suitability judgement or a measure of character. You are not required to attempt a task, push through tiredness, provide evidence of output or compare yourself with someone else to make a response acceptable.
Attention depends on an account the page cannot observe
- A description about reading or listening retains your recollection of difficulty staying with ordinary information. It is not an attention task: no timing, recall test or accuracy score is recorded. The page cannot establish what information you understood, whether the material was clear or whether a remembered interruption applies in every setting.
- For example, you might remember losing the thread of an ordinary message without remembering why. You can retain that uncertainty. No category identifies ADHD, a cognitive impairment, a mood condition or a medical cause. Do not recreate a difficulty, stay awake or repeatedly check your concentration for this record. A professional discussion can consider circumstances that the description leaves open.
An inner judgement is not a fact about your value
- Remembering a harsh thought after a setback does not establish that the thought was true. The description asks whether you noticed that kind of inner language, not whether you deserve blame or have failed. You do not need to write the words, revisit the event or disclose another person’s role. Withholding a response remains an ordinary available choice.
- Likewise, a thought that what you did counted for little is an experience to describe, not a verdict on contribution or worth. The page cannot adjudicate a disagreement, assess a relationship or decide that a positive thought would solve a concern. It assigns no affirmation, thought-suppression, exposure or self-criticism exercise. You can leave a description alone rather than trying to correct it here.
Categories preserve choices without combining them
- Did not notice, rarely, sometimes, often, very often and unscored have separate counts that add to four descriptions. Each individual choice remains visible. They are not task failures, lost minutes, symptoms or points. Unscored means no relevant experience, unclear recall or withholding; it stays distinct from did not notice and never supplies a zero for an average.
- Three sometimes choices and one unscored choice in a fictional record do not create a moderate tier or identify the strongest topic. These overlapping editorial groups have no established independent dimensions, clinical norms or bilingual measurement equivalence. This is not PHQ-9, SDS or an equivalent of the separate clinical service. General energy and attention themes already occur there, under its own questions and reporting contract.
Support does not depend on a record
- You may ask a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional about a concern without completing these descriptions, reaching a count or waiting two weeks. The page cannot assess healthcare need, urgency or personal safety. Keep existing care, advice and support independent; do not use a record to postpone assessment, change medicine or decide that an experience is too small to discuss.
- The absence of a self-harm question is a limit of this voluntary recollection, not evidence that someone is safe. The page cannot monitor a visitor or provide an emergency response. If there is immediate danger or you cannot stay safe, seek local emergency assistance instead of continuing. No category or completed questionnaire is required before asking for support.
Retain a description you choose to discuss
- If you want a conversation, you could describe what you were trying to do, what you noticed and what you would like help understanding. You choose the detail and audience. A later recollection might differ because tasks, opportunities, memory or interpretation changed; the page cannot establish recovery, deterioration or treatment response. There is no preferred category, target count, productivity plan or required repeat schedule.
- Choices remain in current-page memory, without drafts, submission, questionnaire analytics or a personal result address. Exit, retake, reload and leaving clear them. Copying shares only the public title and entry. All four descriptions may be unscored, and every visitor can read the same complete guide before answering. Reading or support never requires you to demonstrate effort, change an inner thought or finish a task.
