Original task-example inventory · Four full guides free
Record examples you recall for 20 tasks across methods, tools, communication and knowledge. Read four full guides free, with no ability score, proficiency level or job-match percentage.
20 questions · about 6 minutes · no signup
For each activity, choose the state that describes an example you can currently recall. Recent means within the past 12 months; older means before that. An example can come from work, study, volunteering, a hobby or everyday life, and its outcome may have been helpful, mixed or unhelpful. Do not judge its quality or rate your ability. If you have no example but want to explore the activity, choose that option. Otherwise use not relevant, cannot judge or prefer not to answer. You do not enter an example, upload a file or disclose another person’s information. The page records only your selected state; it never verifies the event or the quality of a skill.

A useful skills audit can begin with a specific task and an example to examine. This original FermatMind inventory asks which examples you can currently recall for twenty activities. It records recent, older, explore and not-recorded states across four editorial areas; it does not assess whether the task was done well. An unsuccessful example still counts as an example. Europass and O*NET provide background concepts, not an endorsed question bank or validation. There is no overall beginner-to-expert level, ability average, ranking, hiring verdict or career-fit percentage. All four complete guides are free before and after answering.
The twenty original bilingual task prompts cover methods, tools, communication and task knowledge. They are not a complete inventory of professional competence. Choose a state for an example you can recall, including mixed or unsuccessful outcomes; you do not rate the quality of your performance. No competitor assessment, official occupational rating or work-sample validity is adopted.
Recent means an example from the past twelve months; older means an earlier example you would need to revisit. Explore means no example comes to mind and you would like to explore the activity. Use not recorded when irrelevant, uncertain or unwilling to answer. The states and twelve-month boundary are editorial choices, not validated skill levels, and no event is verified.
Every recognised choice counts as a response, including not recorded. All twenty are needed before the inventory is presented, and all-not-recorded can finish. Within each five-task group, the four state counts sum to five. There are no score values, reverse coding, averages, dominant profiles, levels or automatic priorities. Close or tied counts remain unchanged.
Twenty tasks record recent, older, explore or not-recorded states. Each five-task group’s counts sum to five. All-not-recorded can finish, and all four guides remain public. There is no performance-quality rating, ability score, proficiency level or job match.
Five activities concern steps, methods, checks, limits and assumptions. The inventory records which examples you recall, without rating the quality of your methods.
Five prompts concern versions, organising information, preserving sources, access and recovery. A recalled example does not certify software proficiency or permission to act.
Five activities cover explaining a term, a handover, a shared decision, feedback and conflicting requirements. The selected states concern recalled examples, not communication ability.
Five prompts concern terms, current sources, rules, expert input and uncertainty. They help organise examples to revisit without testing the depth or accuracy of your knowledge.
No. It records which examples you recall for twenty activities. It does not observe performance or judge an example’s quality, and it provides no beginner-to-expert level, certification or job-fit percentage.
Yes. The state refers to recalling an event, not doing it well. Helpful, mixed and unhelpful outcomes can all qualify. The questionnaire never verifies the event or awards a quality score.
Recent is within the past twelve months and older is before that. This is a convenient recall boundary, not evidence that skill expires or that recent experience is better.
If you want to explore the activity, choose explore. Otherwise use not recorded when irrelevant, uncertain or unwilling to answer. All-not-recorded can finish and all four full guides remain available.
No. Counts do not establish competence, interests or a priority gap. Read the actual requirements and compare appropriate examples or qualifications; seek suitable advice where needed. No hiring or salary prediction is made.
All twenty tasks and four complete guides are free without signup. You select states only; no example text or documents are collected. Optional tab drafts expire after twenty-four hours and clear on completion or reset; sharing uses a public link only.
The tool asks only for a selected state. Do not enter documents, client details, incidents or another person’s messages; there is no upload or example-text field. Optional drafts stay in this tab for up to twenty-four hours and clear on completion or reset. Copying shares only the public title and URL, never your task states or counts.
Each full guide includes a count example, fictional task, counterexample and optional action. Use a relevant task, current requirement and appropriate evidence when considering a role or course. This original inventory has no established reliability, norms, validity or cross-language measurement equivalence. It cannot certify competence, correct self-assessment bias or predict salary, performance or hiring.
These sources provide background, not validation of this questionnaire or an individual diagnosis.
