Keep the integer’s order intact
Whole-number entry: full practice guide with an original worked minute, exact-entry and character denominators, editing rules, device limits and a small optional review routine.
Every complete round lasts 60 seconds. Confirmed-equivalent KPH = (characters in confirmed entries + one separator per entry) ÷ 60 × 3,600. Exact-entry KPH uses only entirely correct entries, including their separator. Backspace and discarded characters are not throughput; a confirmation button represents the same one separator as Enter, not a measured physical keypress. Entry error rate = wrong confirmed entries ÷ all confirmed entries. Positional character accuracy = matching character positions ÷ the sum of the larger source/entered length for each confirmed entry. With no confirmed entries, accuracy and error rate are unavailable.
What this mode asks you to do
The whole-number list contains independently constructed digit strings with no decimal point. Read the current source, enter the same digits and confirm once before moving to the next row. The task is copying a visible sequence, not doing mental arithmetic or selecting a favourite response. A source such as 4821 must remain 4821; 4812 is a different entry even though it uses the same four digits. The report keeps both exact-entry and character-position readings visible.
A complete worked minute
Suppose a full 60-second round confirms 4821, 703 and 90564 against sources 4821, 730 and 90564. The confirmed text contains 12 digits plus three separators: 15 equivalents, or 900 confirmed-equivalent KPH. Two entries are entirely right, contributing five and six equivalents including separators: 660 exact-entry KPH. One of three entries is wrong, so the entry error rate is 33.3%. Ten of twelve character positions match, giving 83.3% positional accuracy. These distinct denominators explain why the two accuracies differ.
Correct before confirming
Backspace and ordinary editing are available while the entry is still in the input box. Only the final confirmed text contributes to throughput and accuracy, so repeatedly typing and deleting digits does not earn extra KPH. Once confirmed, an entry remains in the review rather than being silently rewritten. At the deadline, an unconfirmed tail is shown separately and excluded from both the entry count and throughput. A blank Enter confirms an empty, incorrect entry; it does not skip the source without a record.
Read speed together with the actual work
A high confirmed-equivalent KPH can coexist with many wrong entries. Compare it with exact-entry KPH and the copied rows instead of treating one headline as a qualification. A short source and a long source contribute different numbers of characters, so changing modes or versions also changes the task. This edition uses a full minute rather than extrapolating a few seconds. No rank, passing threshold or trained-clerk benchmark is assigned, and an empty minute cannot establish how capable someone is.
Try a comparison you can interpret
If you want another attempt, keep the same mode, browser and input device and note that you have already seen the list. Choose a comfortable pace and inspect one or two copied rows afterwards. You might try reading a short group before confirming, or checking the last digit, without assuming one technique works for everyone. Stop when you want. The useful outcome is a specific observation about this practice, not a promise that repeating it will improve employability or eliminate errors.

Practice scope, device and privacy
These fixed synthetic numbers, task rules and worked guides are independently authored by FermatMind for local practice. Scores describe this edition, device, mode and uninterrupted minute, with prior exposure and any assistance affecting comparability. They are not employer norms, hiring certification, an IQ measure or a prediction of job performance. Browser key codes describe reported events rather than proving a physical keypad. Inputs stay in this page’s memory, with no answer upload, saved draft, answer URL or answer analytics. Hiding the page or a detected clock discrepancy cancels and clears the round; reload starts again.
