Use the relationship named by the code, rather than its position on the screen.
Read six original two-step lookups with explicit correct, wrong and unanswered counts, without a speed norm or work qualification.
Read only this module’s units and conditions. Untouched work, missing answers and unattempted modules remain explicit. No overall, percentile, pass estimate or hiring level.
Two lookups form one chain
- Each question supplies two small fictional reference lists. A named location points to a zone code, and that zone code points to a group. The task is to follow both relationships and choose the resulting group. All information required for the answer is printed in the exercise. There is no external directory to consult and no need to know real agency territories, addresses or dispatch arrangements.
- The lists may appear in different orders. That variation makes the relationship itself relevant: a zone on the second row of one list need not correspond to the group on the second row of the other list. This module checks answers to these six particular lookups. It does not establish a general ability to search unfamiliar databases, work with spoken requests or maintain accuracy while handling several tasks at once.
Carry the exact intermediate code
- Start by identifying the target location exactly, including its suffix. Read its zone code, then find that exact code in the group list before selecting an answer. A similar-looking code is not interchangeable with it. This is a small example of keeping an intermediate value stable between steps. The value is supplied, so the task is neither a test of outside knowledge nor an invitation to invent a missing connection.
- If a real directory were incomplete, it could be appropriate to ask its owner rather than guess. These original items instead declare complete single-valued relationships so that one answer is checkable. Do not generalize their completeness to actual workplace records. When reviewing a wrong practice answer, ask whether the target was identified correctly, whether the intermediate code was carried accurately and whether the second relationship was actually consulted.
A reordered list changes the route of looking, not the relationship
- Imagine a fictional list in which COVE-7 points to Z29. A separate list says that Z29 points to GROUP-41, but its rows are ordered from the highest zone code to the lowest. GROUP-41 remains the answer even if its row is elsewhere on the screen. Choosing the group in the same visual row as COVE-7 would use an unsupported positional rule instead of the two printed relationships.
- You can use this example to describe a checking step without treating one correct response as a stable strength. The task may be familiar after a repeat, and a remembered answer need not involve the same search process. The exercise does not observe your eye movements or determine which strategy produced a choice. Its evidence is the selected answer under the declared conditions, together with the supplied explanation.
Read six outcomes without inventing a level
- The module reports correct, wrong and unanswered counts, which add to six. An explicit leave-unanswered choice and an untouched item at the deadline both remain unanswered. They are not silently converted into a selected incorrect option. If you answer four items correctly, choose one wrong option and leave one unanswered, the record is four correct, one wrong and one unanswered. No percentile or pass estimate is calculated from that small set.
- The timed version has a site-defined three-minute cap. Untimed study is labelled separately because it allows a different opportunity to inspect the lists. A finished practice record can be useful without being comparable to another person’s record or an official assessment. The other modules use different tasks and units, so there is no average across them, no overall coordination score and no automatic declaration of a weakest personal skill.
The clock belongs to this practice edition
- The active timed section admits selections only before its deadline. When the cap is reached, the section closes and remaining items stay unanswered. Finishing earlier preserves the actual observed interval for that attempt rather than pretending that every person used the full cap. The site cap is an editorial exercise condition; it is not an official CritiCall time allowance, an employer standard or a validated processing-speed threshold.
- Backgrounding, leaving or a substantial disagreement between clocks clears the active timed section. You can restart or choose untimed study rather than interpreting an interrupted attempt. In study mode, the page does not manufacture a timed performance figure. Browser speed, screen size, zoom and accessibility tools may change how easy it is to inspect the material, so keep those conditions visible if you privately compare repeated attempts.
Check one link at a time with fictional material
- For a low-stakes review, write a small fictional location-to-code list and a code-to-group list on separate sheets. Reorder the second list and follow one chain slowly, checking the intermediate code before selecting a group. You can ask a willing partner to verify the chain from the same printed facts. This is a way to make the method explicit, not a promise that the exercise will improve a particular selection-test score.
- Use invented entries rather than private customer, staff or agency records. If you later try a workplace task, follow its permissions, source authority and checking requirements instead of importing this exercise’s simplified assumptions. A useful personal question is whether the lookup path was clear and whether any uncertainty needed clarification. You do not have to enter a real example or upload evidence to read this complete guide.
Keep this practice result in its proper scope
- These six questions and their tables are original FermatMind content. They are not official test items, a secure exam or a validated measure of dispatcher readiness. The module has no established norm group, hiring validity or English–Chinese performance equivalence. English source codes remain identical across the two interfaces, while the instructions and full reading are bilingual. That design choice should not be mistaken for evidence that language has no effect on the task.
- All six complete module guides remain public before any exercise and when you leave every module unattempted. You may end with one clearer checking step, recognize that the conditions were unsuitable or simply read without taking the exercise. Personal response text is not included in a public link, and the page does not require a saved profile. The useful conclusion remains a bounded account of this practice, rather than a label attached to the person.
