Accuracy needs a stated denominator, and output needs a stated clock.
Read final-field matching and one-minute output without treating parcel or request-card practice as dispatcher qualification.
Read only this module’s units and conditions. Untouched work, missing answers and unattempted modules remain explicit. No overall, percentile, pass estimate or hiring level.
Know what this small exercise records
- This module presents thirty-two fictional request cards, each with four printed fields. You copy those values into the corresponding inputs during one fixed sixty-second interval. The source contains no real person, address or emergency call. The record describes what you entered on this device under these conditions. It does not establish that you can handle live calls, interpret spoken information or enter unfamiliar workplace records reliably over a longer shift.
- Both interface languages use the same original English values and codes. Keeping those strings fixed allows the exercise to check identical targets, but it does not create equivalent performance conditions for every reader. Familiarity with English, the keyboard and the device may matter. Use only the fictional values shown; entering your own details is unnecessary. This is an original written coordination exercise, not an official CritiCall form or a certified keyboard assessment.
Distinguish attempted records from merely visible records
- A record enters the accuracy calculation when you commit an edit in any field or explicitly include the record while moving forward. All four fields of that record then count, including blanks. Merely viewing an untouched record does not add its fields. Later records that you never reach are also excluded. This makes the denominator inspectable; it does not award full accuracy for work that was never entered or establish a completion rate for every available card.
- For example, suppose two cards are included and six of their eight fields match exactly. Exact field accuracy is six divided by eight, or seventy-five percent. If no record is attempted, accuracy is unavailable rather than zero or one hundred percent. A high accuracy based on one card and the same accuracy based on several cards have different coverage. Read the number of considered records and fields next to the accuracy value.
Keep character output separate from field accuracy
- Character KPH is the final number of entered characters during the sixty seconds multiplied by sixty. It is an hourly extrapolation from a one-minute exercise, not an observed hour of work. It counts final characters, not every physical keypress, correction or deleted character. If ninety characters remain in committed fields at the deadline, the displayed character KPH is five thousand four hundred. That arithmetic alone says nothing about how many fields were wholly correct.
- Exact-field character KPH counts characters only in fields that match the complete target. Field accuracy instead counts matching fields relative to all considered fields. These are different units, and neither should be multiplied into an invented level. Completing every available card can also create a source ceiling. The exercise cannot infer how much more you would have typed with an unlimited supply of equally difficult records.
An exact comparison has narrow rules
- Case, spaces, leading zeros and punctuation need to match the target after Unicode NFC normalization. A numeric-looking quantity remains a text field: 007 and 7 are different target strings in this exercise. An entire field either matches or does not; there is no partial-field accuracy credit. This is a declared checking rule for the fictional cards, not a statement that every real organization should preserve or reject the same formatting.
- The difference labels describe final text, not the cause of a mistake. Blank, case-or-space difference, an adjacent transposition, omitted characters, added characters and other differences are checked in a stated order. A label cannot diagnose attention, carelessness or a reading difficulty. Reviewing the specific fictional target and the checking rule is more informative than treating a category count as a description of your general ability.
The deadline defines which edits are admitted
- The full sixty seconds are required for the minute-based output calculation, even if you reach the last card early. Corrections remain possible inside the interval, and time spent making them stays inside the clock. An edit arriving after the deadline is not admitted to the record. The page checks the deadline before accepting input; the visible countdown is a display of that rule, rather than a reason to accept a late response.
- Moving the page into the background, leaving it or detecting a substantial disagreement between clocks cancels the active timed exercise and clears it. This is a conservative way to avoid displaying an ambiguous timed record, not proof of cheating or a judgment about the user. Restart when the conditions suit you. Device interruptions, keyboard suggestions, input methods and accessibility tools can change the conditions and should remain part of any personal interpretation.
Review one field before chasing more output
- For a modest revision exercise, choose one fictional field and identify exactly which formatting rule applies. Try locating the target, entering it, checking it and moving to the next field without adding unrelated information. You can practise slowly outside a timed attempt before deciding whether to take another full minute. A clearer checking routine is a practical question to explore; this guide does not promise a particular speed gain or a transfer to another test.
- Keep actual work files, personal information and confidential records outside the exercise. Do not disable an organization’s required checks to improve a practice number. If you compare attempts privately, note whether the source is now familiar and whether the device, input method or allowed assistance changed. A repeated known bank can become easier through familiarity; a higher output on it is not independent evidence of a broader work capability.
Finish with a bounded description
- A useful description might be: in one sixty-second round, these many records and fields were considered, these many fields matched, and this many final characters remained. Preserve all of those quantities instead of reducing them to a pass, rank or hiring level. This module has no established norms, job-performance prediction or cross-language measurement equivalence. It does not reproduce audio entry, simultaneous emergency messages or an agency’s actual selection procedure.
- All six complete guides are public before practising, and unattempted modules remain explicitly unattempted. This reading is available even when you enter nothing. You may stop after reviewing the conditions, choose another original exercise or return another day without retaining a personal record here. Public sharing contains only the general title and entry link; raw field input is cleared and is not needed to read the complete explanation.
