Three directions have equal highest counts
Across 24 paired choices, the options for romantic expression and rituals, practical partnership and building together and shared growth and personal autonomy were selected equally often. These are equal highest raw counts. They do not create a combined personality or a new camp.
Equal counts across three directions do not establish skill in all three, or that the values are equally important.
Read every tied direction
- Equal counts across three directions do not establish skill in all three, or that the values are equally important.
- Romantic expression: commemoration, symbols and special experiences.
- Practical partnership: division of work, execution and shared tasks.
- Growth and autonomy: personal goals, autonomous decisions and support for growth.
- The three tied directions cover moments of commemoration, carrying out tasks and personal space.
Compare situations and tradeoffs
- Consider whether the circumstances or a preference you tend to keep shaped the choice.
- The order of rituals, cooperation and autonomy in different situations cannot be inferred automatically from a tie.
Willingness and optional action
- All three directions require willingness and discussion. This result cannot require a partner to accommodate your preferences.
- If useful, record which value actually took priority in situations concerning a ritual, cooperation and growth. You can skip comparing those situations.
A fictional situation to compare
Imagine two people deciding how to use a free day. A shared memory, a joint practical step and protected personal time are three possible aims. Write each aim on its own rather than announce a balanced itinerary. A conversation could ask which aims are actually wanted and what constraints apply. Your three equal counts supply neither the other person’s answer nor a workable allocation of time.
What the example cannot justify
“We should do one of each because my result is tied” converts a score pattern into a schedule. The test cannot decide which aim is urgent or whether any activity should be shared. A lower companionship count does not establish inability to listen.
An optional private exercise
Privately mark one fictional constraint for each aim: time, resources or agreement. Add an option to leave the day undecided. Compare what each proposal would mean without treating completion as evidence of maturity or commitment.
Keep the count within its limits
- Equal counts do not establish ability in all three areas.
- They do not establish a more complete or ideal person.
- They do not predict which direction comes first in an actual relationship.
- The tie is preserved without forcing a unique leader.
- This is an original product framework for exploring relationship values. It has not completed independent psychometric validation.
