Each item gives the information or rule you need. Select one of four answers; each item has exactly one correct answer. There is no timer. Use paper or a calculator if helpful. All 24 answers are needed before the result and explanations appear. This is original practice, not a certified hiring, medical or IQ assessment.
Preparing the test…
All questions and full results are free, with no signup. Saving is optional; only saved attempts can be resumed after a refresh or language change. Tab drafts expire after 24 hours and clear on completion or retake.
Work through actual comparisons and written rules rather than rating how careful you think you are. Six items each cover records, instructions, quantities and formats. All information needed is supplied in the question; the exercise does not depend on an employer’s private test, spelling knowledge or a medical attention scale. The result is your correctness on this small edition, with each selected answer, correct answer and full explanation, plus four complete revision guides.
Each item has four options and one exact answer key. A correct choice adds one; an incorrect choice adds zero. The four section counts add to the count out of 24. There is no reverse scoring, weighting, speed bonus or partial interpretation. Unknown or missing answers do not produce a result.
Each section has six items and a full revision guide. A result such as 4/6 means four of those six tasks were answered correctly; it does not mean better than four-sixths of other people. At any count from 0 to 6, use the selected answer, key and explanation to identify the exact rule or comparison to revisit. All four guides remain available.
No population norms, cutoffs, hiring decisions, clinical screening or intellectual ability labels are supplied. There is no measured speed. Familiarity, display conditions and use of a calculator can change the experience. After reading answers, a higher repeated score may reflect memory rather than an independently established skill improvement.
Every section has a public revision guide. Completing the practice shows every guide and item explanation without assigning a type by score. Public guides contain no personal responses or counts; studying before practice is welcome. This is not a secure exam.
Review original code, address, list and time comparisons, with a worked checking example and a way to inspect misses. Six-item accuracy does not establish a general attention trait.
Review AND, OR, exceptions, ordering and exact file endings. Worked examples help separate a missed condition from a wrong sequence, without assigning a procedure-following personality.
Review totals, incoming and outgoing stock, packs and line values. Worked arithmetic exposes the exact discrepancy; the score is not accounting certification or mathematical aptitude.
Review character formats, symbol positions, space removal, 24-hour times and allowed sets. The guide distinguishes literal matching from guessing a pattern and offers a repeatable checklist.
It is objective practice: 24 tasks, one correct answer per task, correct counts and worked explanations. There are no personality profiles. Every needed record or rule is supplied; it does not reproduce an employer’s test.
Yes. Finish all 24 choices to see your selected answers, all correct answers and full explanations. The four public revision guides can also be read before starting. No account, email or purchase is required.
No. The counts describe these original practice items under your chosen conditions. No recruiting cutoff, population rank or clinical interpretation is established. The test cannot diagnose an attention disorder or certify job readiness.
Answers stay in the browser. Saving a temporary tab draft is optional; it expires after 24 hours and clears on completion, exit-and-clear or retake. Without a saved draft, refresh loses the attempt. Sharing uses a public test link rather than an answer sheet.
FermatMind independently wrote the records, rules, quantities, distractors and explanations. Each answer is justified by the information supplied, and all 24 keys were separately recomputed from an explicit source proof. These checks establish answer consistency for this edition, not validity as a general attention-to-detail instrument.
