Compare what is written, field by field.
Review original code, address, list and time comparisons, with a worked checking example and a way to inspect misses. Six-item accuracy does not establish a general attention trait.
This section has six tasks. The result is the number answered correctly out of six; all tasks weigh one point. This is an item-set result, not a percentile or a fixed ability band.
What these six tasks ask
You compare a supplied reference with copies. The items cover a code, a changed room field, a fictional email address, an ordered list, two times and a label with three fields. Everything needed is visible. No spelling test or outside database decides the answer, and a changed field is different from a count of changed characters.
A separate example
Suppose the reference is tray F3 / lot 512 and a copy says tray F3 / lot 521. Check the tray and lot separately: F3 matches, while 512 and 521 differ in the last two digit positions. There is one changed field. Saying that the copy looks almost right would not answer a question asking whether it is identical.
Read your count with the answers
A result of 6/6 means all six comparisons in this edition were answered correctly, not that you never miss a detail. At 0/6, revisit each exact mismatch before deciding what happened. Any intermediate count needs the same item-by-item review: a transposition, a wrong field and misunderstanding the instruction are different reasons for a miss.
A practical comparison pass
With non-sensitive practice records, underline the fields that must match. Compare one short field at a time and then make a separate pass for order. If a display is difficult to read, zoom it before continuing. Keep a note of the exact mismatch you missed rather than writing only “be more careful.”
What remains untested
This short set has no population norms, hiring pass mark or diagnostic interpretation. Font size, language comfort, interruptions and familiarity can affect a practice attempt. After reading the explanations, another run can reflect remembering the answers. It is useful revision, but it is not an independent demonstration that your general ability improved.
