Spatial Relationships — Complete Recollection Guide
The four prompts concern trying to anticipate an orientation after a turn, uncertainty about left and right after a change, keeping relative positions in mind and difficulty retaining a relation while imagining movement. They describe recalled thinking, not whether the imagined arrangement was correct.
Four descriptions retain six separate label counts, without correctness, speed or ability scoring.
Thinking about relations without assuming a picture
- The four prompts concern trying to anticipate an orientation after a turn, uncertainty about left and right after a change, keeping relative positions in mind and difficulty retaining a relation while imagining movement. They describe recalled thinking, not whether the imagined arrangement was correct.
- A person may use words, an abstract relation, a sketch-like impression or a vivid picture. This page does not choose a superior method. It does not test vision, drawing, mental-rotation speed, navigation or intelligence, and a chosen label cannot establish a permanent strength or weakness.
Four selections remain six separate counts
- The six counts add to four selected descriptions. They do not count successful rotations, correct answers, incidents or minutes. Category IDs are not points. There is no sum, mean, highest style, percentile, pass mark or expected answer pattern.
- For example, one often, one sometimes and two unscored stay those four choices. No opportunity, unclear recall and withholding are distinct from did not notice on relevant occasions. An entirely unscored record says nothing about ability; frequent or infrequent labels likewise cannot certify a capacity.
A fictional plan without a scored solution
- Imagine a fictional adult thinking about whether an ordinary box would face another way after being turned. They may reason using words and feel uncertain about one side. Both the attempt and uncertainty can be recorded without a claim about accuracy. The guide does not ask you to turn a box now or reproduce the situation.
- A laboratory mental-rotation task can collect timed judgments about object drawings. These four recollection labels collect neither correctness nor speed. The research reference explains that difference in method; its results and stimuli do not validate these new prompts or provide a personal ability norm.
Keep nearby questions separate
- The separate visual-imagery reflection asks about experienced mental pictures. The visual-arrangements guide in Communication, Routines & Ways of Working concerns external aids. Neither substitutes for thinking about relative positions, and none becomes a checked spatial-performance test through a link.
- Other separate entries concern recent focus, adult executive function, sensory responses, sensory perception and camouflaging. They retain their own banks and readings. No answers or scores transfer, and no joint cognitive-style radar, autism inference, neurotype, learning style or career-fit recommendation is produced.
Use real requirements for a real task
- For an ordinary plan, you can use an external diagram, written sequence or suitable object if it helps make the requirements clear. Choose an aid by the actual task rather than a questionnaire label. A recollection cannot verify that an arrangement is accurate or that a practical plan will work.
- No new puzzle, repeated practice or performance demonstration is needed to use this page. It supplies no training promise, improvement target or reason to abandon an aid that is useful. A later difference may reflect opportunity, interpretation or recall rather than a change in spatial ability.
Original content, choice and privacy
- These four bilingual descriptions and their categories are original editorial content, with no independent validation, norms or established language equivalence. The past four weeks is an editorial recall window. You may leave any item unscored or read the full guide without answering, signing up or proving a difficulty.
- Answers stay only in current-page memory, with no draft storage, submission, questionnaire analytics or private result address. Exit, refresh, leaving and retake clear them. Copying includes only the public title and entry. Practical support does not depend on a count, and this record cannot decide health needs or eligibility.
