Separate descriptions without a personal or clinical label.
A complete original reading of experiences of emptiness, preserving context, uncertainty and individual choices.
Each original sentence receives one description of your past four weeks: does not describe, partly describes or describes. Cannot judge, no relevant experience and prefer not to answer are separate choices. Twenty-one choices make seven records of three statements, with six category counts adding to three in each. The individual sentences and selected words remain visible. Comfortable, difficult and uncertain descriptions are not reverse-scored or combined. There are no points, total, average, cutoff, dominant pattern or clinical result.
Emptiness is recorded in your own description
These statements concern emptiness without knowing what was missing, feeling empty during an ordinary activity and uncertainty between rest, numbness and emptiness. They do not define a universal experience of emptiness or establish why it occurred. A sentence may not fit your vocabulary; cannot judge and no relevant experience remain available without being treated as a normal result.
Quiet, boredom and emptiness need not be identical
A quiet moment can feel restful, uncomfortable, uninteresting or difficult to describe. This exercise does not decide which word you ought to use. The third statement explicitly preserves uncertainty rather than resolving it into an empty feeling. Neither activity level nor how a moment looks to somebody else can provide the private description that is missing from a response.
Participation does not prove or disprove a feeling
Someone may take part in an ordinary task while feeling empty, and another person may be alone while feeling engaged. These examples separate outward activity from a private experience without diagnosing either person. The form cannot measure enjoyment, meaning, loneliness or dissociation from these three sentences. Other reflections on connection or mood ask their own questions and are not substitutes for your answer here.
An unknown cause remains unknown
The website cannot infer that an empty feeling resulted from a relationship, a past event, a lack of purpose or a condition. Nor does a fitting answer predict what happens next. Category counts keep a small set of selected descriptions together; they do not locate an underlying deficit or identify what would fill it. Every individual choice remains visible without a ranked interpretation.
No experience needs to be manufactured
There is no task to isolate yourself, seek stimulation, recreate a feeling or undertake a personal challenge. You can leave the question private and stop after reading. If the experience is distressing, you can describe that concern to an appropriate professional without identifying a cause or using the website’s words. A record is never required before your experience deserves to be heard.
How the record works

Origin, limits and independent support
- FermatMind authored these twenty-one statements and seven readings as a reflection on selected experiences. They are not a borderline-personality-disorder screen, diagnostic criteria, a validated scale or a way to rate another person. Reliability, validity, norms and language equivalence have not been established. Four weeks is a recall aid, not a clinical duration criterion. Seven topics are an editorial organisation, not seven clinical subscales or a checklist that determines a condition. Public health material provides background without validating this inventory.
- You can seek support for an actual concern without finishing, reaching a count, accepting a label or sharing this record. A qualified mental health professional can consider your needs in an appropriate individual setting. This activity cannot assess safety, explain a cause or choose treatment. It asks for no disclosure, confrontation or reenactment. If there is immediate danger or you cannot stay safe, seek local emergency help instead of continuing.
